I looked on Polfoto and Colourpress and nothing. Those are good anyway. I'm glad to see her out.

The wife od Fürst Hans Adam of Liechtenstein is Marie-Aglaé, nee Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau. Perhaps you were thinking of her...

Hello,
Can someone tell us more, in English, about Maxima's baby? When was she born, the full name, etc. Was the labor and delivery okay?
Who does the child Eloise Sophie belong to? Is she the child of Laurentien? When was she born?
Is Maxima's baby the heir to the throne after her father? I tried to read the Dutch reports, but my English won't do enough to help me understand it.
Thank you!!! I love to hear about all the babies and their full names!
Merry Christmas,
Corabella

Maxima´s baby was born on Dec 7th,2003 in The Hague. She was named Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria.Beatrix and Carmen in honour of her two grandmothers. In family she will be called Amalia.Maxima went to hospital at 9.00 a.m. and at 17.00p.m the baby was born. They said it was a natural birth and a delivery without any complications. At 22.30 I think there was a press conference and we saw Amalia sleeping in her daddy`s arms.Amalia will be Queen of the Netherlands after her father.
Yes: Eloise Sophie Beatrix Laurence is the daughter of Prince Constantin and Laurentien she was born on June 8th,2002.

ps. there was this rumour that the Dutch royal family wasn't that rich, don't feel sorry for them, the costs of the 2 cradles was about as much as the price of a mediumsize house! (probably 150.000 eur or something like that.)
|
That's all it is ~ a rumor! Believe me when I say that the Dutch Royal Family is quite well to do! They truly can afford two cribs!! My husband's grandparents along with a lot of other people here in America tried to file suit against the Dutch government in the 1850s for monies rifled through by King Willem, both King of England and statholder of Holland. It all has to do with the death of a general, Thomas "Metzger", at the Hague. King Willem decided not to publish his general's death so he could rifle through his possessions ~ which included scads of acreage plus many jewels. I believe King Willem gave part of General Metzger's holdings to the Count of Portland (in England) to pay his October 1650 bills. This was actually "theft on a grand scale" ~ and the Metzger decendants wanted repayment for this theft.
We have a letter from Queen Wilhamena (sp?) stating, at the end of WWI, that all loans and court suits were cancelled! They just walked away with everything they had attained ~ either illegally or legal. In this letter, it states, that the Government of Holland couldn't even think about repaying the interest on this debacle of theft from General Metzger who died at the Hague. :grrr: This letter is in the basement of one of my husband's sister's home in Pennsauken, New Jersey. I myself have not seen the document in person, however, my husband has a copy of the document from Queen Wilhamena.
Queen Beatrix is even rumored to be more wealthy that Queen Elizabeth.

about the wealth of the Dutch royal family: a business magazine called QUOTE has a top 500 of the 500 richest Dutch people, and the royal family are placed number 15 with an estimated 1 billion euro. compared to last year this is not much because last year it was thought that they had 2,6 billion euro.
It's very hard to track down how much money they have, and they don't to make it public, so this is just a rough estimation by experts.
