There are quite a lot of unannounced events on the couple's agenda, many visits to projects of the Oranje Fonds for example aren't listed on the calendar. The court has explained that this practice is used in order to not put the participants of certain projects in a flurry far in advance.



Today, April 23, Queen Máxima handed out the certificates of the 1000th language course Hago Zorg employees have completed in Rotterdam.

A great initiative and I am happy that HM attended this event. She used to be part of the commission PAVEM (2003-2005), a commission that adviced the government about participation of women from ethnic minorities.

Just last week there was a media frenzy about an owner of a cleaning company who said he only wanted non-immigrant employees. So the timing of this event is perfect.

Queen Máxima visited the Futurelab for Care in Driebergen-Rijsenburg today, May 15. In this lab innovative care solutions and techniques are developed and tested that allow the elderly and chronically ill to continue to live independently as long as possible.

22-05-2014 ECSITE Queen Maxima at the opening of the ECSITE-conference for culture and science communication at the World Forum Museon in The Hague. The ECSITE is the European network of science centers and museums for exchange of knowledge and expertise. Theme of the conference is People, Planet, Peace.

Queen Maxima made a working visit to Volkel Air Force Base today, September 10, and inspected a F-16 fighter jet. She took part in a training session and made a flight with a F-16 to gain insight into the activities of airbase Volkel and the process surrounding the organization of an F-16 flight.
