Queen Maxima arrived at the Carre Theatre in Amsterdam, on December 9, 2016, to attend the television recordings of the christmas gala of the BZT Show. The gala is co-organized by the Foundation for More Music in the Classroom (Meer Muziek in de Klas), of which the Queen is Honorary President.

Queen Máxima made a working visit to the horticultural company Koppert Cress in Westland today, March 7. The company was the winner of the King William I Plaque for Sustainable Entrepreneurship 2016.

The foundation has developed empowerment training programmes for single mothers, Queen Máxima gave the kick-off for today.

Today, April 20, Queen Máxima opened the 50th Resto VanHarte at the Neighbourhood Centre Zuiderzee, Lelystad. Children between 8 and 13 can meet at the Resto to cook and learn about nutrition, exercise and working together.

For his 50th birthday the King has invited 150 fellow Dutch who celebrate a "crown year" at the same day, for a banquet at the Royal Palace. Queen Máxima -of course- will join that banquet. :-)
