Apparently a fake Queen beatrix is active on twitter:
Koningin Beatrix (Koningin_NL) on Twitter
this one has some funny twitter remarks, for example on her birthday she said that the whole country could leave their work at 16:00, etc.
The fake queen has 5000 followers.

The State Visit by HM and TRH this coming weekend is under close scrutiny now protests occur in the Sultanate of Oman, more specifically in the port of Sohar.Protesters took to the streets for the second day and demand more jobs.HM Sultan Qaboos has ordered the government to create 50000 jobs and good pay.I hope peace and order will return soon in this paradise on the peninsula.

Considering soem people were killed by the police during protests, it would be very unfortunate if the state visit would continue and it will certainly be heavily critisized in the press. On the other hand, it was known that it is an undemocratic regime and the (previous) government(s) were never that much bothered by state visit to undemocratic regimes before (state visit to China, Egypt etc. ). In the end economic interests usually seem to prevail. I think the best option would be if the sultan himself would ask for a postponement considering the unrest.
What I find very irritating about all this is that some politicians (that atrocious mr. van Bommel of the SP) pretend that the Queen can just cancel this visit on her own, and they will blame her for going in the popular press... while in the end it is a decision of the present government and the neo-fascist party of Wilders.

The State Visit is probably off.A decision is expected by the Foreign Office this evening on wheter or not the visit to Qatar is off the list too.Probably,so no State Visits until the one to Germany mid-April.It will be the 2nd time a State Visit is cancelled. In 1989 a State Visit to China was cancelled due to student protest that shortly after that resulted in the student uprising on Tienanmin Square and the subsequent brutally forcefull and bloody crushdown by the chinese army.
The port in Sohar, the main sea-port in Oman,is owned for 50% by the Port of Rotterdam.
The SP and van Bommel show time and time again that they do not have an inkling on Constitutional matters and the working of a democracy, after all, they're left-overs of the dutch communist party, and whatever was it they did well,or any good....Nunca!So...they proof again they have as many grey cells as their electorate...none!

The ongoing saga around the newest knight in the militairy Willemsorder (Marco Kroon) seems to have come to an end: he was convicted to a 'taak straf' (cleaning public gardens or such). Kroon was suspected of the use of drugs, in the end there was not enoguh evidence and he was convicted for the posession of illegal weapons (a knife I believe). During the trial some dodgy details about his life seemed to explain most things, it was quite embarrassing. Kroon says the last time he met HM: 'she looked me straight in the eye and I told her: 'I did not betray your trust. I an innocent of the use of any sort of drugs''.

I don't believe Kroon, never did,nor his girlfriend. There should never ever have been cocaine near a Knight. They shouldn't run sleezy pubs with a "underworld" sort of clientele like he does.He doesn't know respect nor didn't care enough, and is too involved on the use of the stuff and dispite all the ramblings during the trial,he is guilty.Guilty of total lack of respect for the Order and HM.Regardless what he says,he's scum albeit a military version of that.As a result he should do the only honourable thing,or already should have done that weeks ago,and that is to return the Militaire Willemsorde, immediatly. The guy is a disgrace for the Military, the Knights Militaire Willems Orde and most of all Her Majesty.
