It was sentenced under "speed-justice",or the Dutch equivelent to that.Good,but not enough,it won't keep others from doing stupid things,and on the money,they can't fetch what's not there..

I would have wished them to take away his dutch citizenship and return to sender,as in the song...

The director of the theatre bumped in on HM. In the clip HM says 'au' and the director apologizes. On blauw bloed the queen could be overheard that she didn't mind.

Ofcourse she said that,but her eyes told something different.Besides,it was very rude of the guy not
to watch out and walk ahead after he bumped in.The Hufter.

HM will attend the performance of the opera "Ca Ira Moed" at the Nieuwe Luxor Theater,Rotterdam,november 17th.
Reason is the murder of the son of tenor André Post who was killed in an act of useless/senseless violence on november 17th 2009.
HM is involved with events against this useless and absolutely senseless sorts of crimes and has attended events for the
families and loved ones of those who died for no reason at all,and recently unveiled a monument dedicated to them.

Tenor André Post himself has one of the leading roles in the Opera.

HM will receive the German President,HE Mr.Wulf in audience at Noordeinde Palace on thursday november 18th
together with dutch PM Rutte.Afterwards TRH The Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima will join for lunch at the Palace.

The new German President makes a "Antrittsbesuch",a tradition for new German Presidents to visit the neighbours.

HM will attend the religious wedding ceremony of her nephew Prince Carlos and Annemarie at the Ter Kameren Abbey,
Brussels saturday november 20th.

HM will open the DeLaMar Theater on sunday the 28th,on old theater totally rebuild from scratch right in the center of dear Amsterdam.
The Theater is a gift by a producers couple,Joop and Janine v/d Ende,and it's spectecular.Named after a once famous actress,Fien de La Mar,from the first halve of the last century who's last husband bought it for her and named it after her decades ago.They took that theater down,totally,as well as the insides of the adjoining houses and then build everything up again,the outer walls of the old houses in place but offering a totally different view.

It's already open a short while for try-outs and really,it's a hit before the official opening,and so is the opening performance;"Le Cage Aux Folles",the gayest and wittiest of musicals will be on stage of the opening night the 28th.A treat to HM,she will laugh herself silly,even tho some jokes are very risqué....I just wish Her and everyone else a blast of a wonderfull evening and Toi Toi Toi!!

On November 17, Queen Beatrix has made a working visit to Maasvlakte 2.
Maasvlakte is a large industrial port area. It was built south of the estuary
of the river Maas on the edge of the North Sea as an artificial island and is
part of the port of Rotterdam. Maasvlakte 2 is the extension of it.

Informatics of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) today, November 24, 2010.

Today, November 25, Queen Beatrix attended the congress ‘Reselience and
confidence’ of the Social Economic Council (SER) in Den Haag. The congress
took place to mark the 60th anniversry of the SER. The Queen received the
jubileebook "SER 1950-2010, 60 years thinking for support".

And again,a supposedly "mentally disturbed man" worked himself into the Faculty yesterday while the Queen was there.
He asked several students as to where the Queen was,they informed security and when they approached the guy he
threw himself on the floor while HM was in a room next to that.

He won't be arrested but is offered counseling....For Crying Out Loud!!From,ao,MY Tax money no doubt!!
The Idiots really do take-over.Not in my book tho.

HM can't win. She genuinely makes an effort to circulate and speak to people in as normal way as possible (for someone who is a Sovereign by the grace of God) and yet there are rude individuals who act with more than discourtesy and bad manners and disrupt her innocent socialising activities. Beatrix has an incredible amount of patience. Although, she would probably find life much easier if she was more like the Windsor-Saxe-Coburga-Gothas and put in place a protected cordon or barrier all around her to keep people away. I do think the Oranje-Nassaus should be a little more like the Windsor-Saxe-Coburga-Gothas in the use of formality and, in contradistincion, the Windsor-Saxe-Coburga-Gothas should be less isolated and instead a little more like the Oranje-Nassaus - ie somewhere in the middle please.

HM meeting the "leading roles" after the performance,The Queen of queens...I love the expression on her face,think she thouroughly enjoyed herself....On the pic,Zaza is to the left shaking hands with Pieter van Vollenhoven.So kind he was there to assist his dear sister-in-law,I can imagine HM needed a jolly "na-zit" with someone close to have fits of laughter with and going through the whole musical again.It also gives anyone a look at how lonely she must be/feel sometimes without Prince Claus sharing all this with her.I've come to think on that more and more lately,how vulnerable she actually is.
An endearing,wonderfull Lady .

HM appointed a new Lady in Waiting:M.L.A. Baroness van Zuylen van Nijevelt,néé Lady Den Beer Poortugaal.

HM also appointed three Chamberlains:

Jonkheer J.J. de Graeff

Jonkheer mr.Th.S. Röell

Mr.J.J.J. van Lanschot

All are appointed as of January 1st 2011.

The three new Chamberlains will take over this function from:

Ir. E.H. Baron van Tuyl van Serooskerken ( Province of Noord-Holland)

Drs.L.E.H. Vredevoogd ('s-Gravenhage)

Dr. J.J.J. Haspels ( Utrecht). All three will be appointed Chamberlain Honorair as of the same date.

As Marengo already mentioned in the thread on Princess Máxima,both The Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima
have increased their engagements within the country,while HM The Queen didn't appear halve as much this year
as Alexander (70 visits) and Máxima ( 90 visits)combined,HM is slowing down a bit.
