Indeed, that's a cute one
Yesterday, November 2, Queen Beatrixe received a publication about prehistoric grave mounds on the Crown Estates Het Loo. The publication was developed under the direction of an archeologist from the University of Leiden, in cooperation with the Municipality of Apeldoorn and the National Heritage Board.

It was the first time that the ceremony was broadcasted. According to the press the Queen was against it. The ceremony started 10 minutes before scheduele and the public channel was still broadcasting commercials. For this reason the ceremony had to be performed again. The Queen was surprised and was overheard saying that it became a 'theatre play'.

Why would they start the ceremony 10 minutes ahead of schedule, especially when they knew it was to be broadcast for the first time? I could understand if it had started a couple of minutes late, but early is very odd.

Oh dear, Minister Schultz van Haegen - Maas Geesterdanus wears a rather special outfit.
Nice to that they used the train again. The last time was when HM went to Copenhagen to a celeration for Queen Margrethe.

If there was a 'Jovial Monarch' award I think Queen Beatrix would win it hands down, judging by the above photo's it looked liked Her Majesty was enjoying herself.
