Thank you Squidgy!
It was very nice to see the Queen, especially with those Indonesian people wearing Indonesian traditional clothes. Later on, we asked Her Majesty to join us, and she accepted our request. We had really marvelous time!!!:)

I saw the queen attending this concert on the news, she seemed almost to be 'swinging' to the latin (antillian/aruban) music. She also visited a Rembrandt exhibition in Leiden this week, I believe. I am really impressed by the high number of public activities she has performed these days (/this year).

She lives at Huis ten Bosch, Paleis Noordeinde is the palace where she's working during the day. :)

Me too Marengo! The poor dear must be exhausted - she has been so busy. She might actually be looking forward to her knee surgery next year, so that she can take a little rest.
Has the palace announced when the surgery is, and how long the recovery period is expected to be?

Thanks for the information Dutch Royal. I guess we won't be seeing much of the Queen until, at the earliest, February. It will be hard to go for so long without Beatrix, considering we have become used to seeing her perform public duties so often this year.
