Did you see the Princess? As a member of the team that takes calls from people that wish to donate. One of the presentors asked her how she introduced herself on the phone with all these people, she replied chuckling;"oh just by my name, but it doesn't bring about any reaction".
There was 10.6 million till today. Then today saw/heard the Haiti radio event. That alone raised another 8.6 million euro. The telethon started 2 hours ago and people donated a staggering 15 million euro more till now.Whatever is donated by midnight will be doubled by the dutch government.34 Million doubled to 68 million euro ($ 89.6 million) is an absolute fantastic sum till now.
The Princess spoke about that she was only able to get contact with the Haitian chair of the Red Cross,a friend of the Princess since both had worked together when the Princess was Chair of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Foundations and the Haitian was a member of the Board. The Princess said it was a very emotional moment,to be able to talk to eachother.
This Princess really is one of a kind, absolutely, the Royal with the warmest kindest heart anywhere, not that others are not,it is just that Princess "Sunshine" as her nickname is,is truly special she radiates it.

The end of the program the sum was revieled, over 41 million euro, that was doubled so there was 83.448.252 million euro.
Amazing,and moving.

I love that she's doing this - how neat! That's funny that most of the people who talk to her don't realize who she is - you have your only opportunity to talk to a Princess, and you don't even notice!

A survey to find out how many of each species are in a certain area.Has that certain bird diminished in numbers or did it increase.
To find out the how and why of the amount of birds, the species,do they need protecting in some kind, what can be done to prevent a specie from diminishing and why did it diminish,or did the number increase,in the first place.Just an annual survey on how many of each specie you see in your garden,on your balcony, terrace.

I believe the other men in picture 2 are count Hugo van Zuylen van Neijevelt and one of his sons (either Philip or Roderick, who both are involved in the family business).
Sadly I have never been to Duinrell as a child as my mother couldn't stand amusement parks, even though this one was 10 minutes away from where we lived.
