it's great she still is working, if the doctors said that no problem with that it's great.

Yes. She looks a little tired, but I don't think she has any problem. Pregnancy could tire yourself a lot, and much more if you are a Crownprincess, with a lot of official duties to accomplish.
And, I agree, she is VERY pregnant! But this would not mean necessarily that it would be a baby boy...When she was pregnant of me, my mother has a much more big belly than when my own brother was born, two years later. I weight two pounds more than him! But, yes...It could be that Maxima is pregnant of twins...And it should be GREAT, since I'm a big fan of twins, especially if they are identical, but I also likes this kind of twins: a baby boy and a baby girl together! :w00t2: That's absolutely a-do-ra-ble!

Do you really think máxima expects twins?
I think the Royal House would have announced that, like they RF of Belgium did when Princess Claire expected twins...
But who knows.

Not sure if the "bigness" is from twins or just because this is her third pregnancy and the tendency is to get bigger with each succeeding baby. I think she looks pretty good considering her busy schedule and her condition.

Maxima looks big, but good. She looks tired/pale, not sure if that is due to not wearing enough make-up(blush,eye make-up) or just tired. It's good to see her again.
Few more pictures of Maxima's visit to the UN

Admire her working spirit like you all, but I think one reason she looks like she's about to deliver triplets is the fact she's wearing a very tight, light-colored sweater under that lovely coat. If I were going to a business meeting that pregnant, I'd wear something that would be a bit looser around the belly maybe, because now it's like saying, "look, people, how pregnant I am". To which my reaction is: do as you please, but elegant, it aint. Why, after all, look like - dare I speak the truth - a frysian cow (albeit without without the spots) if you have heaps of fashion experts to help you?

Well, some women find being pregnant beautiful, and they think looking pregnant is beautiful, so they want to show it off. Maybe for a Crown Princess it's not 100% appropriate, but provided she's not hanging out of anything or dressed immodestly (and maybe to some, this fits the definition), I don't see anything wrong with it.
I would add that for comfort, she should wear looser-fitting tops around her stomach.

I know what you mean and normally I have nothing against women who insist on letting the entire planet know they're about to pop out another specimen of the human race by way of their clothing, and not that I care too much here either. All I'm sayin' is, if I were representing the netherlands at the United Nations, I would want to draw attention to the cause, to the mission, and not to my belly, out of respect to my host as well as out of respect to what I'd be working on as well as out of respect to the country I'm representing.
And not distract the issue by selfishly drawing attention by wearing clothes that scream "I am pregnant, hey you all, you think you can tell? Ain't it great? I-am-woman-hear-me-roar-you-all!"
Call me old fashioned, but if I were representing a country and a cause, and meeting with high level people purely for business, I'd wear something less screaming that I'm expecting another human. Just sayin.

Had she worn some fashion-puppet outfit, we'd be saying the same thing "it's drawing attention from the cause". I guess per usual it's just never good enough.
I actually happen to think that right NOW she was wearing an appropriate outfit. It certainly did not scream she's preggers and proud of it. She IS preggers and showing bigtime. She has a big belly like her previous pregnancies. You can't hide that. And why should she?

I think she dresses the way she is beacuse she feels comftable the way she looks. Also think she does not care how big she is, she is enjoying it and probably showing it off, which i am liking. Her outfit looked like a working outfit but IMO a looser top would be prefered.

I liked her outfit. Her coat was very nice and it worked well with the T and the pants.
Had she for ex. worn a loose blouse to that outfit instead of the rather tight fitting T she would have looked like a woman in a tent.
My only critique is on her hair. She looks fantastic with her hair up in a bun, royal, elegant and most professional. With her cheeleader wind blown tossles she looks not casual but unkempt. Such a pity.
About the flying: she should be quite fine in first class, being able to walk around, whenever she wants, get enough to drink, whenever she wants and also she would be able to stretch out as much as she likes. However, the fatique from jetlat can't be avoided even by travelling in luxery.

If April had not be mentioned as her due month I would be sure Maxima was due end of Feb- start of March.
I thought Maxima, Mary and Letizia would all have girls. For obvious reasons I would LOVE Maxima to have a boy but a beautiful girl would be wonderful too.

You don't need to hide it but there's imo no point either in shoving your bum into people's faces practically. It's kindof like if you're, let's say, 'well endowed' elsewhere, why push your big decollete into people's faces at a serious meeting, just because you have big youknowwhats?

I think she naturally gives birth to big babies, her belly has been this big too for Amalia & Alexia!
