Princess Laurentien inaugurate Aiesec conference on 22 February 2006
Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands will attend “AIESEC International Presidents Meeting 2006” conference on wednesday morning 22 February in Royal Theater Carré Amsterdam.
The Princess speaks to the 400 international participants closed during the openings ceremony of the conference.
The target of the conference is the new international chairman of AIESEC to choose, new countries by the organization to involve and the strategy to fix. This year has been chosen for the theme Driven by diversity.
AIESEC is an international students organization that has been set up in 1948 by seven countries, below which the Netherlands. AIESEC is now present in 90 countries and becomes by 20,000 students represented on 800 universities. Through means of the exchange of students, AIESEC international cooperation and cultural notion stimulates and promotes they the development of individuals.
The Princess is been in her own college days also active member of AIESEC.
