Thanks Marengo. It is nice to see Annette performing public duties. Since she is so far removed from the throne in the line of succession, she rarely has public engagements.
Where was she & what was she doing?
(I love the picture where she appears to be mirroring the bust that she is standing beside):)

Great to see Annette! :) She's such a pleasant looking woman, always so happy and cheerful. She always makes me think that she's the kind of person you'd want as a best friend!
What is the special reason that has brought Annette out for an official duty? And why wasn't Prince Bernhard Jr. with her?

She unveiled a statue at Utrecht Cenral Station (the biggest station in the country). The dutch royal website says the following:
-- --------
so the statue was the start for a national campaign for Multiple Scleroses. Apparently on the statue is a number to wich you can send an sms text message and the money from that message will go to this fund.
I have no idea why Annette did this, maybe the others were to busy considering President Putin and their normal jobs? But very nice to see her anyway, she is one of my favourite princesses. I assume Bernhard was working...

I think only once before she did something like this, planting the first trees fo a forest in Brabant with Marilene and Laurentien. I believe it was over two years ago.
