I like the photos from 1950 and 1960s, where royals are together.
I think that that time was the best for shooting, there were lots of pros.

I read that Prince Felipe is a very romantic man, and that he sent a rose or a flower, (can't remember) to all of the ladies invited to his sister's wedding (I think it was Infanta Cristina's wedding) I read this on a spanish magazine (10Minutos). The article is from the issue of Felipe and Letizia's engagement, maybe someone knows a little bit more about it, or has read it too.

Nicholas II. and Alexandra - their correspondence is the most fascinating novel filed with love. And also their devotion to each other in good and bad is touching
Alexander III. and Maria Fyodorovna - even though they were not in love at first, their mutual relatioship was filled with strong bond and mutual passion.

I find William and Catherine to be romantic, but in a very quiet kind of way (which to me is a lot more profound than a huge public display of affection). I think the subdued displays say a lot more, and this couple strikes me as the kind that doesn't seem to need words. They can figure out what the other is thinking by simply paying attention to facial expressions. Plus, his hand on her back or shoulder says a great deal as well. He shows us (and her most importantly) that he cherishes his wife.
