The House of Braganza was deposed in 1910 - the king and crown prince were both assassinated in 1908, and the next and last king was deposed two years later. He had no children, and there is some dispute as to who's the heir, but the generally-recognised "pretender" is the current Duke of Braganza, Duarte Pio.
