Future Royal Baby Names

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
some bible names are precious for girls.
Abigail, Ruth, Esther, Mary, Rebecca, Sarah, Eve, Martha, Rachel...

i would love if Madeleine and Chris were to name a girl if they have in the future, Esther! i really LOVE it, and matches Estelle with the 'E'.

my little 4 cousins are Carolina, Mariana, Ester and Ema (the last 2 are sisters, both with 'E', how cute^^)

Mary is one of my favourite names! Plus it has a strong royal connection. I also like the name Gabriel, which is the Duke and Duchess of Brabant's son's name.

I like that name Antonia, Principessa, which you put up before you revised your list for Luxembourg. Antonia is Stephanie's sister, and it would be good to have a name which has not been used extensively lately. Not a frivolous name, but one less repeated. And I'm really stuck on Rose just because I like the connotations--the flower, the fragrance.
I like the Biblical names which Kathia Sophia suggested, especially Ruth, because of the beauty of the Book of Ruth. Twins: Ruth and Rose (with a second name for each to make the names more euphonious). And of course Esther is a wonderful name as well,
but she was a Biblical queen and I wonder if that would be considered over the top?

Why not the original French/Occitan form of Eleanor, Aliénor, after its first known bearer Aliénor of Aquitaine. Stéphanie's brother Jehan have a name from the Occitan region of France.

Aliénor Alix Joséphine Marie of Luxembourg

Aliénor is a gorgeous name, I do kind of think there would be a Charlotte in there though.

Oh, I hope not to see an Augusta or a Mathilde (Matilda). Those names are just plain hideous. I do however, love the the idea of a Sophia or a Charlotte. I think it would be also nice to see a Grace and some version of Elizabeth.

Its perhaps going a bit far saying that Augusta and Mathilde are 'just plain hideous" perhaps you meant that you didnt like them personally I think Matilda is quite cute Augusta doesnt appeal to me that much either :)

they are really lovely names and Ester and Ema would be great for twins as well. :)

I can definitely see Madeleine and Chris naming their children something like Alexander, William, Axel, Alfred, Theodor or Gabriel; Marie, Astrid, Désirée, Matilda, Alice or Filippa. Something modern, yet beautiful, somewhat traditional and pronounceable in English.

Lilian will probably show up in a princess's name in Sweden, after the late Princess Lilian. Victoria already named her daughter after an American woman who married a Bernadotte prince. It might be a "version" such as Lily-Anne. Or would Swedes use Lily-Anna? Maybe the name Bertil (Lilian's husband) might be given to a prince, but it seems their tradition is to put "Carl" on the front of the name. So: Carl-Bertil. Carl-Daniel would also be appropriate extremely.

I doubt a Swedish prince would be named Carl-Bertil, as that name is very much connected to a character in a Christmas movie that's been on Swedish television every year since 1975, Karl-Bertil Jonssons julafton But perhaps a prince with that name would be inspired by the movie and start giving stuff away to the poor and dissolute as the boy in the movie does.:whistling:

I think that a little Carl Johan would be wonderful. I hope that either Victoria, Carl Philip or Madeleine name a future son that. Bertil would also be a great name, and I agree about Lilian, I could definitely see that being used in the future.

If Madeleine and Chris have a girl, then I'd love it if they called it Lovisa. I think that's such a pretty name. The baby's name "combination" could be:

Lovisa Magdalena Lilian Charlotta

For a boy, these names sound nice:

Gustav Carl Johan Arthur

If Guillaume and Stephanie have a child, then its name combination could be:

Girl
Josephine Maria Adelaide Teresa

Boy
Jean Henri Leopold Guillaume

If King Jigme Khesar and Queen Jetsun Pema have a girl first, I would like to see this being used: (I checked the Bhutanese names)
Shreeni or Chimi

If a boy:
Ugyen or Jigme (very likely)

Guillaume & Stephanie:
Boy:
Jean Henri Philippe Marie

Girl:
Charlotte Marie Leopoldine Alix

Albert II & Charlene

Boy:
Rainier Albert Pierre Michel
Louis Michel Rainier Pierre
Antoine Rainier Jean Albert

Girl:
Grace Caroline Charlene Louise
Caroline Antoinette Marie
Louise-Hippolyte Caroline Grace Marie

I doubt Lord and Lady Frederick's baby will have a traditional noble or family name

Why on earth not?

I think Marina for a girl would be lovely and Nicholas a good choice for a boy.
Good selection Hereditary PRincess

For William and Catherine's child i would like:

Girl
Elizabeth Diana
Victoria Alexandra
Sophia Amelie

Boy
Henry William
David James
Edward Charles

For Victoria and Daniel's future second child(if they ever have one)

Girl
Catherine Louise
Caroline Adelaide
Ingrid Helena

Boy
Frederick George
Arthur Leopold
Alfred Louis

If Victoria and Daniel have another daughter, then I have the feeling she will be named Ingrid. Or at least as one of her middle names. I was surprised Estelle did not have the name Ingrid as one of her middle names as I read somewhere that Victoria looked up to Queen Ingrid.

another Ingrid is to really too close to them for that as a first name.

Zara and Mark:
Philip Mark Peter
Oliver Anthony James
Jack William Michael

Philippa Anne Linda
Amelia Patricia Elizabeth
Olivia Alice Louise

William and Catherine (since they gave little George three names, they're probably *sigh* gonna stick to that amount):
Arthur Philip Francis
Frederick Victor James
David Edmund Charles

Matilda Caroline Elizabeth
Eleanor Frances Victoria
Adelaide Charlotte Mary

Nathalie and Alexander:
Casimir Frederik Michael Alexander
Philip Maximilian Christian Louis

Xenia Alexandra Benedikte Ann-Katrin
Astrid Margrethe Ingrid Marie

another Ingrid is to really too close to them for that as a first name.

Why? Because of Ingrid Alexandra in Norway? I can't say that I agree. Victoria was named after Queen Ingrid and Ingrid was also a huge support to Silvia when she married the King. Before their wedding, Silvia apparently lived at Amalienborg with Ingrid. It seems like Ingrid has also been a huge support to Victoria, Silvia has said: "Queen Ingrid could familiarise a child's world, she was there for Victoria" (translated from Swedish to Danish to English, so if any of the Swedish members have a better translation for Drottning Ingrid kunde tänka sig in i ett barns värld, hon fanns där för Victoria, please let me know ;)). I actually think it is very likely that Ingrid will be in the name of a possible future daughter of Victoria, if not as a first name, then as a secondary name.

Wow, lost in a flurry of names again!
I have thought about a name for Guillaume's and Stephanie's baby when they have one.
I think it would be stirring if they used a couple of the Breton names of her siblings (I think they are Breton, or Gaelic, or Celtic, which are parts of a language system). I like Alain and Aymeric, also Gaelle. I think Maria Teresa's name will appear as Therese, and of course Stephanie's mother Alix or father Phillipe will be there.

Alain Henri Phillipe Marie for a boy.
Alaine Therese Gaelle Marie for a girl.

Just names I like, not predicting.
