Zara Phillips' Fashion and Style Part 1: June 2004 - December 2012

Seeing as how all the other Royal ladies had a discussion about their headwear, I thought Zara deserved her own as well. Please post pictures of the royal beautys hats here.. Thanks!

I think that Zara often gets her fashion choices horribly wrong. In some respects she reminds me of a young Sarah Ferguson. With that I mean that she opts for high fashion when it is simply beyond her. She is a pretty girl with a nice figure but I think that she is often swamped by the clothes she wears. I am the same age and height as her and a stone lighter but even I realise that most of these clothes are designed to be worn by six foot androgenous figures. I love Zara but think she should dress to suit her her build. (Perhaps she is rebelling against the dreadful way her mother dressed her as a child&#33

Zara and I are both 5 feet 5 inches tall and 23 years old. When I married last September I had slimmed down to 9 stone but recognise my pre-marital (and post marital figure) in Zara teetering on approx. 10 stone. I hope you are not American as this will mean nothing to you.

Even if Zara is one of my favourite young ladies in the royal scene, I feel that sometimes she wears clothes that imo are neither elegant, neither favour her figure. The same goes for hats.
Still is nice to see she experiments with clothes and is not just wearing what everyone expects a Queen’s granddaughter to wear.

Zara has a very laid back, sporty look to the clothes she choses and I think it fits with her perfectly.

What a pity Zara does not take her mother with her to her (Zara's) hairdresser. Princess Anne's hair really needs a glaze and a deep conditioner, so that it doesnt look so crispy. Zara's is much better for all that she spends her days sweating inside her riding helmet.

This might be a weird question but I will ask it anyways.
Does anyone know what type of jeans Zara wears. I know that they have like little designs by the pockets

the hat was certainly striking, can't say the same for the rest of the ensemble.

I quite like and admire Zara. I dont understand though, given what great physical conditions she is in, why her clothes tend to not look that great on her. Maybe it's just that she doesn't enjoy wearing more form fitting clothes. That outfit at church Christmas day....the coat almost looked like maternity wear (not that I think she's pg).

I liked the hat and purse, but I don't care for the cut of her coat. The color and fabric were very nice, but the coat looked too bulky and unflattering.

A well-shod Zara Phillips wins the style race at Cheltenham in Gwen Stefani's stiletto shoes | Mail Online i think that this isnt the right outfit for a day at the races - especially those shoe-boots as they look silly at Cheltenham

its a nice enough coat that she wore to Gold Cup day - but those lace-up boots are cheap looking and she needs something under that coat as well it is too short
