Maybe they are very comfortable? At least he hairstyle was very pretty. 
I would have prefered that she had used the traditional mantilla but I suppose that it wouldn't have looked right in Las Ventas

The Princess Royal wore that outfit in the Eighties or Nineties, I have to give her credit for still being able to fit into clothes that are 20-30 yrs old. We all know HRH is known for being thrifty and recycling.

Mabel's dress I would not call a dress but a walking disaster
Queen Rania was one of teh worst dressed IMO - Nothing was nice about her look, not the hair not the dress.
