The green outfit was lovely for the arrival in Dublin and a nice nod to the Irish ancestry of the duchess.

Ok...my apologies! Just saw a photo of them meeting the prime minister in his office! Meghan is perfectly attired! That office looks like a normal office of a businessman and not a prime minister.

No need to apologize. It is a slightly less formal and more business like outfit for landing on an official visit. But I think given the nature of the visit and the couple, it's appropriate. It's formal enough, but also more relaxed.

Meghan looked beautiful on both occasions today. I love the sleek '50s feel that her dress at the RAF flypast had, and her headpiece was neat and added to the stylish feel of the look.
I like that she wore green when in Ireland.

Its separates. I really wish she had worn the green dress from the engagement interview. Stylish, the right shade of green and appropriate.

The Duchess of Sussex's Daytime Fashion Part 2: July 2018 -

A beautiful dress for this morning's service. Such a change to see her in a full skirt which is a very flattering shape for her figure. I have never liked fascinators, but this is about as good as they get.
Quite like the relaxed style of the two piece for the arrival.

I love what I've seen so far of Meghan's garden party dress! Black (or very dark) with a square neckline, sleeveless. So happy to see something other than a boat neck, much as I like that on her.

I'm too "petty" to comment on that. I will say the DoS looked lovely, but EW can go kick rocks.

She killed it today, with exception of the colors. Girl, it's summer.

A really nice dress in the morning; I like the fuller 'skirt' - fabric could be slightly better (but that's also the case for her sister-in-law today) but overall a dark but really nice look. I don't like her Irish outfit(s) so far. Especially the shirt and her pulling up her skirt several times... It's all rather dull.

I saw a pic of her here with sunlight on the RAF event dress and it really lit up the blue..almost a dark royal blue.

I very much liked the green outfit today. Business like but still chic. Lovely bag and heels too. Loving the evening dress as well but I see there's a seperate thread for that.

You're not kidding! She was an old-fashioned 'knockout' in her navy ensemble. It looks like we are getting to a point where we can see her style emerging and she really rocks a bateau neckline. Many avoid them like the plague as they are an unforgiving style feature but Meghan has it down pat. The skirt on the dress was so flattering and because of the type of material used, needed no voluminous petticoats to achieve just the right amount of movement and flair.

But what I like best is that Meghan has a sense of humour which gives us fun things like that magical, whimsical, millinery marvel . . . a hat that looks like a spinning propeller. When my mother was young they used to call fascinators a "Whimsy" and from what Meghan has given us from both Loius's Christening and the Airforce Centenary, it fits.

Ah the shoes, I almost forgot. The pale blush shoes look delightfully whimsical as well, in just the same way ballet slippers do.

As to the green ensemble for arrival in Ireland, I really like the almost businesslike look and love the handbag and shoes of offset the green.
