From what I can see, Camilla played quite safe and, aside from the creases on the bottom of the coat, it's not bad. I absolutely love the hat!

Camilla looks elegant as usual at these events. The color is great on her, and I LOVE her dragon fly brooches. Though I love she has a real hat on, no sure I like the big bow detail. But it is my favorite of the three big hats I noticed (Lady Gabriella and DOK).

Real hats always win it from those silly fascinators, especially when rounder, rubensian facial features (Beatrice!) clash with a little silly thing wobbling on the head. The Duchess (and I must say, all senior ladies like the Princess Royal, Princess Alexandra, Princess Michael) show the noble art of wearing proper millinery.

I thought the Duchess of Cornwall looked glorious. Every inch a royal Duchess. The jewels were eyepoppingly beautiful. The diamond-and-pearls Prince of Wales' Feathers Brooch made a wonderful match with the diamonds-and-pearls choker and earrings.

I like this one is quite lively. Look at the Queen in her neon-green stiff textile with matchy-matchy hat. It resulted in a quite static look, while Camilla was in movement with her playful feathers. It softened the look. And she looked every inch a Duchess, waving in that carriage. Her creme outfit contrasted beautifully with the carriage, the horses, the red uniforms of the equerries, splendid.
