The navy blue wrap dress (reportedly from a mail-order catalogue) from last year reappeared in Surrey today.

You pretty much mirrored my thoughts. This is not a good look (though dark blue is not a bad color choice).

It takes a generous soul to put the host at ease, as in this pic. Even more so with the difference of age and status. Katie Walgreave was the host.

I like this frock from yesterday much more than today's dress.

She does seem to dip that right shoulder, though it seemed more pronounced in today’s pics. I could have given many more examples going back to about February 2013. Before then it seems slight if there at all.

That's a great color and style on the Duchess, and I really like the body language between the two. You can tell that there's a warm and engaging interaction going on.

Great color...but as someone else said....she needs to invest in some proper foundation garments.

Look she is a nice lady, but she is dumpy and frumpy and so be it. Foundation garments don't seem to be her thing.

Well I didn't think she had always been dumpy/frumpy, I've seen her looking 'smart'....she used to present herself a little better. The Queen is older than Camilla but she looks anything but frumpy/dumpy.

I had to laugh at the first one. May its her expression. She's seldom seen not smiling. Purple seems to be her color of choice. The next one is good, next next one not quite so good, next next next one on the dowdy side. The last one is good, but there's less chance of going wrong in black.

For me, the black spoils the dress a bit, but if it had been one colour then it would've looked nice, but I suppose that's just my taste. However, I do like her tiara and earrings.

Agreed. She has taken up the length of her hair a bit in the last few months. It's flattering on her.

The fit on this dress, and the appropriate support (ahem) makes this one of my all time favs on The Duchess. It's modern but not severe, the details are tasteful rather than glitter-ball-ish and I think black tie and a black and white dress make a charming pairing.
