Totally agree. She's almost Camila's 'Mini-Me' with that shade. Too precious. Errr....yes, the Duchess looked just smashing.

IMHO the Duchess always seems to look like royalty. She has wonderful taste in clothes, is always dressed appropriately for the occasion and does not seek to draw attention to herself.

In contrast to Kate Camilla was dressed for evening, I like the jacket but the balloonskirt is plain horrible. I hate balloonskirts, imo they dont look good on anyone, not even younger women like Maxima, who wears them frequently. On elder women like Camilla its even worse.

Stunning jacket, hideous skirt. Imagine that jacket with a skirt in the same velvet fabric, or even a simple silk skirt in the same color.

I actually thought Camilla looked lovely. She has worn this ensemble previously, and I quite like the look.

I really like Camilla's outfit and the combination of velvet with the metallic fabric of the skirt, but don't care for the balloon shape too much. But she was definitely dressed for the evening.

Camilla looked lovely. The Baroness of Books is correct about the combination of the fabrics. Nicely done.

As Baroness of Books pointed out, the contrast in fabrics looks fabulous, but the skirt is a little too shiny for my taste. I don't mind the outfit on the whole though.

Exactly! Is that brown jacket and silver skirt? And yes, Marmalade, those balloon skirts really just belong on little girls, period.
Lovely jacket though.

This first photo is taken at an odd angle. Sort of from above so their heads all look disproportionately large against their bodies. It also does weird things to Camilla's skirt!

Now this photo gives an altogether different aspect and is far more flattering to all concerned. It also puts Camilla's skirt back in proportion. She has the height and the legs to carry off the bubble skirt.

Hmmm. I don't know. The boots look strange.

i like the look, but would have probably chosen a different pair of shoes. The boots look a little off, but that's just my opinion. On the whole, she looks great.

In my opinion, the problem is the BUBBLE PLEATED skirt, slacks would've been much nicer with the dressy jacket, and then the boots (appropriate for a horse arena) would have been just fine. Waist up? thumbs up. waist down? don't look!

I just like the jacket but not the boots or skirt. Slacks definitely would have gone better with the venue, then the boots would not have looked so incongruous with the outfit.

Camilla in a pink coat and not articularly attractive hat whilst presenting medals in Portsmouth today. The overall look just did not work for me.

I like Camilla's outfit, although the boots look too shiny and speckled to me. And she's wearing one of her Paddington-type hats, which actually looks nice on her. The color coat and style are beautiful.

This pink coat looks amazing!! The hat is pretty and I don't mind these boots with this outfit, but the dress she's wearing underneath doesn't look particularly nice, IMO.
