I like the coat and her jewelry, but don't care for the hat. It is too big.

Kate Middleton recycles Michael Kors coat for third time | Daily Mail Online
The hat is too heavy for Kate - looks like she raided the old hat boxes of the Queens and found this. Would have preferred the first hat she wore in Australia with his outfit again.

I'm very glad Catherine wore a proper hat today. Getting pretty tired of these ladies wearing these fascinators now.

I don't like it personally, there's something about Catherines face for me that requires an upturned hat.
This is one of my favourites, it's got that regalness to it but it's upturned so we can see the light hit her face.

The coat/dress is wonderful for the occasion, but it's so similar to what we see on various engagements.

I don't think we are going to see much variation in her 'work' dress.

There is something that bugs me about today's outfit. I can't put my finger on it, don't know if it's the hat, the jewels or what.

I would liked to have seen her in the grey Erdem from last years Commonwealth service or the Missoni coat she wore to the evening service for the Somme anniversary. Both would have been appropriate for todays event and worthy of a repeat

... and I suspect we will see the worthy repeats again, in the fullness of time.

I thought Kate looked appropriate, lovely and elegant. I hope she sticks with the larger hats as long as we can see her face.

I love the wider brimmed hat on the Duchess; very flattering. Today was a lovely outing for Catherine.
