I love the dress, and I usually don't care for the garden hairpieces- Love this.

Her sense of fashion has improved drastically Imo. She dresses her age yet she wears fashionable piece and does well with the mix match. I am glad she doesn't stick to boring skirt suits or coats that match the dress for every event.

I agree, her fashion sense has grown and evolved greatly over the years. I love her ability to experiment while being appropriate.
I quite like her look from the lunch. I don't mind she is wearing black. Just because it is summer, she doesn't have to wear bright colors.

I find the stripes of Sophie's dress to be rather dazzling, however she looks so elegant that I think I'll give her a pass.
Her Trooping the Colour outfit looked nice, from what I could see. I like the pearls at the bottom.

Sophie looked great during Trooping the Colour and during today's event. I really love the sweater and dress ensemble. It's appropriate, but has a casual touch to it.

We just saw that at the flower show. In this setting, and probably most, the print is a little, too large for someone her size.
Her hat, hairdo and earrings are very nice

Sophie has done the unthinkable (okay it happens once in a rare occasion), she has made me like a fascinator/cocktail hat. I love the dress, and I think the head piece adds jus a pop of dramatic to the look. Her husband looks quite dashing

That's quite a dramatic hat and perfect for Ascot
Dislike the puff sleeves though.

Amazing hat! Color is fine. Coat/dress banal but probably needs to be given that hat, which is quite a corker! She's definitely having some fun. It is interesting. A really designed piece.

No surprise it is Emilia Wickstead. Looks like a brighter version then many that Kate wears. Very simple and plain, but a classic cut, and appropriate for the event
I really like the bright color, great for summer. And she has my favorite hat of the day. I like her dress is simpler, as it really allows the hat to shine.

Sophie looked great.
The color, cut and style of the dress all worked along with the hat.
My only issue is the seam running down the front.
Is it not possible to make clothes with the obvious seams?

Seaming has become a design element.
