I've noticed that the Queen and other women of the Bruneian royal family have black, oval shaped patches/pads on the bottom of their shoes. I wonder if its supposed to prevent them from sliding/slipping. I remember reading that Princess Diana used to have similar pads attached to the soles of her heels.
im confused about Princess Diana's shoes used in her pads/soles i wanted show it! i never see before!
Thanks Humera for the photos. The shoes worn by the women of the Bruneian royal family are so beautiful, and as you said, just as colourful as their clothes. I have always loved these shoes worn by Crown Princess Sarah. Who can resist red shoes?

you're welcome Danielle:)
and you're right, red shoes feel so wonderfully indulgent. Red also happens to be a colour that CP Sarah looks amazing in.
I think if I had to choose between whose shoes I loved the most, Mary and Letizia would get my vote. I love their shoes...but I'm not fond of those multi-colored shoes....You know the kind where there one color in the front part of the shoe, and another at the back. I admire any woman who can wear stilettoes, but I would never wear them. I'm afraid to walk in normal heels, so forget walking in stilettoes.
