I hate stilettoes. They are not pretty, they hurt your feet and they cause such foot deformities later in life. I don't think you need to wear clunky shoes, but those extreme spikes and pointy toes that Mary and Leztiza are so fond of will cause them grief later on.

I think you're right. I've even heard that they can cause your hips to get wider by deforming the bones. I used to have a teacher who had a similar problem
I've noticed that the Queen and other women of the Bruneian royal family have black, oval shaped patches/pads on the bottom of their shoes. I wonder if its supposed to prevent them from sliding/slipping. I remember reading that Princess Diana used to have similar pads attached to the soles of her heels.
