the one of the day 2 is average in my opionion, the grey suit, the coat and the bag are nice, but I dont like the blouse, it seems very old fashion, and shoes that are fine don't match well with pants, in spite of that and what is incredible is that she is elegant, i think because she is a very distinguiched lady
 
Queen Sofia and Lalla Salma look amazing in this picture

she was very nice juste few month ago....at the Sarkozy dinner in Morocco she Was still beautiful more than Lalla Salma, or French Minsiter Rachida Dati , she was stunning
now she has some health problems, maybe she has some difficult or heavy medicale treatment , maybe she stopped sport (she was very sportiv)
I hope her health problems end....and get back to her pretty apparence

but ...in spite of her health, her age, her weight....she is still the most classy, beautiful, gracious, morococcan princess, and one of the beautiful princess among the others

So, she may find again her nice figure and beauty in future when problems will end.

ikram anyone can easily be more beautiful and elegant than Dati:angel:
i don't have anything against the woman i like and respect what she is,and the caree she make to herself,very impressive,BUT when it come to beauty and fashion i am not too crazy about that,and i don't understand the noise about that.

I agree with u Mademoiselle lilo ... :) she is not that beautiful ..
 
I love the red caftan,the gold sfifa is beautiful:flowers: her hair is a liitle missy though:ermm:
 
well first i like the style of the caftan,second i think it's rather a Lalla Meryem style than Lalla Salma,i remember seen her in this style more then one,for example during her last visit to Netherland many others time.
 
hasna said once in an interview, each member of the MRF has her own style. but imo this doesn't mean they will not pick once in a while a design which another member wears often. for instance salma' visit to senegal, her caftan looked very much like m6' aunts caftans which are always very makhzani.
what i like about meryem is the tick fabrics she choose for winter and the colors. for a while she wore nice light golden tackchitas and recently we see her more in red, which is very feminine and elegant. also, meryem seems the only one in MRF who follows caftan fashion trends and picks the right ones.
 
-the round collar
-the "rbati" embroderies (big flowers),
-the red-orange colour ,
-the shape of the caftan make me think at Lalla Salma Style's
i'am crazy since always about lalla Meryem beldi and european style, but this is the first time i don't like what she wear because I hate "rbati" embroderies , except the the belt and her Buckle very nice , very moroccan traditionnal style
 
I don’t like a lot her kaftan, the embroideries aren’t refined in my opinion, the shape of the collar and the color aren't nice also (not a fan of this tint of orange)
By way I like the belt, her make-up is nice, I like also the simple way she put her hairs

youre right about the round collar, but im right aboute the "Rbati" Lalla Salma Specility
IMO but i H A T E since always the "rbati" embroderiies, I love LMeryem
and its to sad for me seeing her with tha awful style

I have those caftans in mind when I saw the last caftan Lalla Meriem had worn.I will add to these,the red one with golden embroideries she had worn in Morroco,I don't remember the occasion but she was with her brother Moulay Rachid
I completly hate this style,cheap looking and traditional in my opinion.Shining materials and golden embroideries is too much.I would have prefered a less shining caftan for such an occasion.It was a charity evening for the Palestinian Red Crescent and the caftan wasn't suitable in my opinion because it looks as if she was going to a fiesta.
Ikram,I am not morrocan therefore I am not very familiar with caftans and all the details you are refering to but I clearly see that there are differences between Salma's caftans and Meriem's ones.Meriem used nice caftans but also ugly ones in my opinion and those posted by mademoiselle lilo are a good example.
I am not a big fan of most of Salma's daily outfits but in matter of caftans,I have a tendancy to like and sometimes love most of her caftans.
I my opinion,Salma's caftans are more original,modern and of various style.They are not boring.I hated the one she had worn in her last visit to Senegal for example,i also don't like when she wears too much jewels with her caftans.
Generally I have a tendancy to prefer Salma's caftans over Meriem's ones.

The collars of these kaftans are nice, because they aren’t too deep; it isn’t the case of the last one she wore

I agree with who say that it’s a too much ceremonial caftan for this kind of event, it would be nicer if she wore a sober one, by the way she choose the right make-up and hairdo, simple, exactly what suits.
 
Well red it's a beautiful color, but this red,really don't like it, it looks orange/red, and the shiny material doesn't flater it, plus the embroideries are too garish.
Meryem used to have a great style, but last time, she disppoints me, her makeup also is not very nice, especially the amount of foundation that she had put.
I wish that she will back to her nice style, and loose some weight, to fit better on her caftans.

in this site, there is a photo of lalla meryem in her activity of the 09/02/08, even if the photo is small, for what I see her suit has a nice cut and a nice color
I don't see very well her blouse, it seems to have nice colors, but not sure that match well with the color and style of the suit
by way I like the bag and the hairdo
 
She looks very elegant!No matter if she wears traditional or modern clothes,it seems that she's very careful with what she chooses to wear.
 
Lalla's outfit is adorable!!! I fell in love with it at once!!!))))
