There's something about Maria Theresa's outfit that seems a bit heavy for me and I can't quite put my finger on why.

My opinion about the Grand Duchess who to day was the only one in white , She did a terrible Fashion Mistake. A white spot among the atttendance and it was the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. (..)
(..) She succeeded a whole look transformation. As she lost a lot of weight , She changed her way of dressing , her hairdo and make up. She seems younger than her daughters in law .

If you look at any group shot from today you can plenty of people in a range of colours, including at least one other lady on the front row in white.

I disagree. I think white with black is perfect for remembrance. In any ways this was a war where Europe lost its innocence about waging war. So many of the valiant soldiers were young and innocent. I think white a wonderful way to pay homage to that.
Black is an easy choice. But white speaks volumes to me.
