What do you mean "same cut"?For example, there are hundreds of tops with the same neckline(you choose),but not all of them are the same.Apart from that, the 2 dresses look totally different to me.Just my opinion,of course.

Here's an article in Hola that compares the similar style of Princess Mary of Denmark and Princess Letizia of Spain:
http://www.hola.com/realeza/20090804...tival-danza/1/
It talks about their similar beige dresses. The title is, "The Princesses Second Skin".

Danish magazine Billed-Bladet has an article that compares the recent styles of Countess Alexandra and Princess Marie of Denmark:
Billed-Bladet - Prinsesse Marie og Alexandras nye stil - se sammenligningen
An interesting note-Alexandra was the first wife of Prince Joachim; Marie is the second.

Mette-Marit and Duchess og York in norwegian design, a coat by Maggie Wonka. Mette-Marit wore the linnen coat in 2006, Sarah saw it on a photographer during a visit to Oslo this spring , asked who made the coat and then got a meeting with the designer Cecilie Juvodden who had a coat from the old collection she could have

Crown Princess Mary and Crown Princess Victoria
A dress worn by Mary for her husband's 40th last year and at another party this year, and by Victoria at the Polar Music Prize today.

Oops, the outfit are alike, though Mary's outfit fits for a day-time, Princess Victoria is more suitable for a night-time.
I may say that Princess Mary looks like a young girl in this dress.

It's the same Matthew Williamson dress, but in a different color scheme; if you look closely, you'll see that the patterns of embroidery are the same.
It's a rather attention-grabbing dress which I like better on Mary because she was smart in choosing a simple styling and accessorizing to go with it.
On Victoria, who is wearing the bolder color scheme to begin with, the big unflattering hairdo and flashy earrings are just too much.
A bit weird that Victoria now chose to wear a summer '07 collection dress which she has seen on Mary at CP Frederik's birthday more than a year ago.
When you compare it to a picture of how the dress is supposed to sit on the body, it becomes obvious that Victoria bought it a few sizes too large. The sleeves are meant to be three-quarter length, the skirt is meant to be shorter, and it's supposed to fit tighter (as it actually does on Mary).

Both ladies wore the dress well IMO, the colors make the dress look abit different and the embroidery different as well.
