In my opinion, Letizia needs to experiment with more updo's. Her hair is always down. Hopefully Kate will experiment some updo's too when she's officially a princess.

I loved Q Silvia's look from head to toe and her hair is no exception. The curls look wonderful! As to Letizia and Kate, IMO, they should wear their hair up more often. They both have long necks and pretty faces, updos would highlight their beauty much more.

1) I think Catherine Middleton's hair is beautiful and it manages to hide those unflattering shoulder pads. So, when she puts her hair up for the tiaras, I sure hope that she does not wear shoulder pads or wide necklines.
2)Mathilde looks lovely with her hair up and no hat.
3) Finally, what is wrong with Maxima's hair recently? It looks dry and scraggily.

I usually like the hairstyle of Letizia, both straight and curls look good on her. But, I agree with most of you, she seldoms to have updo recently. I hope she will surprise us in the next year.
I always notice that mostly woman with curls looks matronly but looks younger with staight hair. I think this situation appeas in the royals too, like Maxima, Mary and tatiana.

I don't like Princess Victoria's hair style at yesterdays event at the Swedish Royal Academy. It doesn't look any good on her.

most pictures of letizia's nice hairdos are old. how often did she have her hair up last year? 2 times or so? she always has her hair lose, either straight or curly. she could try something else. and i think she could wear her hair a bit shorter again. it looks fuller then.

I'm always surprised when I see a royal lady walking in the snow with sandals! What they have to do not to ruin a look. What kind of snow do they have there in Sweden - one that is warm and doesn't melt on contact of warm surfaces (like toes)? one that is not slippery? If so, then next year we want that kind here too.

I don't particularly like this updo. And the hair ornament is just odd. Of course Maxima's ^^ is even worse, oh my!! Thanks for updating us on the royal hairstyles, Marika!!
