Queen Sonja during the Welcoming ceremony (State Visit from Vietnam)
Wearing a yellow suit and a pretty hat
Outfit
During the Visit to the Opera: She wore the same outfit, just without the hat
Yellow suit
Close-up of the jacket
She looked really lovely and elegant.

I quite adore the white jacket the Queen wore for the Opening of the Olympic Games!

Well that's one way to get around the problem of shoes that pinch . . . . none of them are on long enough to be uncomfortable.
I am going to send this the one of my sisters who is, just like Queen Sonia, a shoeaholic. Ah well, there are worse addictions, and the saving grace is her good taste.

I have to admit that the Queen's fashion does not excite me. Besides, her tendency to wear designer items where the insignia is so obvious, strikes a nerve. That white hat and handbag that she wore a couple of months ago looked like a Chanel advertisement.

I had never noticed her shoe changing! How weird.
The pink is very nice, if for no other reason than that it brings some colour to the outfit.

The orange is... different. It contrasts with MM though
Yes for the hair is very nice, I will have to agree.

I like the suit, but I am not so sure about the hat. The dress was very pretty, and I loved the way she wore her hair for that evening. She looked very glamorous.

I love the day-time outfit! It is an example of the way to wear dark colours successfully IMO.

I don't like the evening gown though . I think it doesn't suit her .
