Well that's one way to get around the problem of shoes that pinch . . . . none of them are on long enough to be uncomfortable. :whistling:

I had never noticed her shoe changing! How weird.

Well, I guess the simple explanation for her shoe-changings is that Queen Sonja is having problems with her feet.
She already had to undergo an operation on her feet.
I guess she cannot wear high heels for too long, until she gets aches. I think that explains the extra-shoes. ;)

The orange is... different. It contrasts with MM though ;)
Yes for the hair is very nice, I will have to agree.

I like the suit, but I am not so sure about the hat. The dress was very pretty, and I loved the way she wore her hair for that evening. She looked very glamorous.

I love the day-time outfit! It is an example of the way to wear dark colours successfully IMO.

Back then...

Some lovely outfits worn by (then) Crown Princess Sonja in the late 60s/early 70s :flowers: :

I love all A-line daytime dresses
and this lihgt green evening dress

Thanks for all the pictures! She was such a beautiful young woman (and is still very pretty, of course.) By the way, your avatar is very cute, Her Majesty.

Ha and wow, I'm crazy about hats! They are all great, thank you, Her Majesty, for the lovely photos!!!!!!!!!

Wow, the photos from 1968 year are simply great!!! Chic!:ROFLMAO:

:previous: I love the first two dresses! They are so sixties-seventies and retro. Absolutely gorgeous, without being overly-trendy. It would be great to see these dresses in person.

Her_Majesty, I can't see white dress on Sonja.
Yellow gown looks fantastic!

There is a huge difference when the dresses on the mannequins, and when they were on Sonja. The first yellow dress was almost drab, but it looked fantastic on HM. The white and blue dresses were not that impressive in person, but look great on the mannequins.
