Dots
One of my new favourite dresses worn by the Queen:
For her birthday dinner during the 70th Birthday Celeberations Queen Sonja wore a new black-white evening dress.

I really like this dress! As I said before: the upper part makes it look elegant and beautiful. The skirt with the dots makes it look lovely and girly.
Very good combination, IMO.

Side 2 has a little collection of the gowns and outfits loves most and she recycles regularly:
En dronning på gjenbruk - Side2
(Scroll down)
I have to say... Some of Sonja's dresses are so stunning (e.g. the gorgeous green gown she wore for Haakon's wedding! It's so beautiful! Or the purple-silver one. Stunning) and others are simply (e.g. the yellow one,... which is her favorite (I guess noone knows why )).
I have to say... it's sad Sonja altered the sleeves of the green gown! I loved the "wings"!

Thank you Her_Majesty for all your efforts , it certainly took you quite some time just to pick the pictures to display. The what you are calling the UFO hats, are the entertaining part in this thread . At first, I was a little shocked with the name UFO , but taking a good look at the style of hats, I couldn't choose a better name . They really looked queer. I wonder what was the designer thinking when he/she were making them?

I personaly like the queen sonja's fashion and style and I found her stunning in this photo Supload.com // Free Image Hosting that she wore on crown prince Fredrick and princess Mary's wedding, she looked absolutely queenie . I also liked her in this dress that she wore in sweden, she looked gorgeous too http://img11.imagevenue.com/view.php...eden_453lo.jpg . In my opinion and we could differ in this, I prefer to see her covering her shoulders with a shawl,a piece of chiffon or silk or putting an elegant jacket. I believe that she is a very stylish queen and her choice of jewels and bags is very good too.
As for the queen's worst choices, I personally put the dragon look alike dress as the worst choice http://img461.imageshack.us/img461/6...onja478ln6.jpg , it was quite shocking , it lacked the design and the colour too, even if it was plain, the design is a failure whether on her or any other, and the shocking part is that she looked quite happy in it . The second worst choice, in my opinion, is the famous yellow dress, not because of it's design rather than the colour itself, but unfortunately, the queen seems to like that colour, and I am still looking for the picture of a similar dress, with the same colour but with a few changes, it had big yellow flowers on the upper part of the dress, but the colour is exactly the same.
As for the queen's choice of hats, I believe that she is quite successful in her choices, except for the UFO hats . In general, I do like her style and fashion and I think that she is one of the elegant queens of Europe (only my personal point of view, we could differ in this).

Hi Isabel! Thank you for the post, but I've checked all three links and all worked well with me . I usually post the links via (Copy-Paste) not to leave any room for mistakes and check the links I refer to once I submit my reply. I've checked them again after your post and they all worked. I remember facing the same problem of yours, while I was in another Norwegian thread and a group of young women appeared instead of the the picture I was expecting to find. Shall we notify one of the administrators or moderators or what? Surely one of them is going to see this. Any suggestions on mind?

Things like that sometimes happen to pictures that have been loaded via Imagevenue.

As you can see the correct picture, you might can save it and upload it via another Hosting page (like Imageshack or Supload) and add this link instead of the Imagevenue-link. Thanks.
