even if it's no Galadress, I love this outfit:
She looks very stylish and elegant in it!

The first picture was taken on May 23, 2002 on the eve of Märtha Louise's and Ari Behn's wedding. Sonja wore the mint green dress at the concert that evening.

I don't like her choice of Gala dresses at all, they are too extravagant, and cinderella-like, (even though her life is a cinderella story)I like her suits, at Christenings and such...

It's true. Her dresses are really very.... "interesting" .
Does anyone know if she designs some of them on her own (as she was a dress maker). ???
I like her wearing blue. I like this two dresses

Queen Sonja recycling her Wardrobe
Queen Sonja recycling her Wardrobe
Queen Sonja of Norway seems to be one of the Recycling-Queens.
She often wears a dress 3 or 4 times.
Wearing the same dress during a State Visit from Spain and during the Coronation Celebrations

Another pink ""Barbie-Dress"" .

Corbis
I really like Queen Sonja.. but sometimes , when I see the pink or the yellow dress, I get the feeling she's colourblind or something.
IMO, her dresses would look much better if they were in another colour, because I think the cut of her gowns in general is quite beautiful...

One of her favourite outfits
She wore this orange jacket and skirt several times
- During the StateVisit from Japan
- During the 100th Coronation celebration
- During a Visit to Asia
I bet she wore it a thousand times more.

I know Queen Sonja has some dresses that have been remade. What I mean is dresses that was made for her, and them made some changes on, like the green dress she wore for Mette-Marit and Haakons wedding, I know the arms of the dress was cut, and Sonja has worn theese second version at one or two occastions. I was wondering if anyone have pictures of before and after of this and any dresses that has been remade.
