I agree with you, Queen Silvia did look lovely at the exhibition opening. That shade of purple/pink looks really nice on her. She's another royal who's been looking great recently. Her brooch is pretty too.

Wonderful, as usual. I would have left off the brooch, however. The pearls and the decorative feature on the suit were just perfect ... but what do I know? lol

I also think the decorative corsage (at least it doesn't look like purple lettuce ) was sufficient without the brooch, but that's a minor quibble. The purple is really beautiful on her, and I'm so glad she wears these jewel tones.

She looks good, especially with that necklace. The is just okay but the spotlight shouldn't be on her or her gown as it's the King's night. JAnd my I say how dapper King Carl look tonight; quite dashing.

I'm so disappointed that the queen chose to the big Jubilee of the king the same dress she wore two weeks ago at the wedding of Gustaf Magnuson and Vicky Andrén, and at the 70th birthday party of prince Andreas in June.
I don't like this although I would have seen it for the first time, the fabric gives vibes of curtains to me.

Great color, but I don't like the print or the style.

For the first time in simply ages, I just do not care for this dress. I don't think the style is flattering at all and I do not like the print.

Do love this red dress on her, loved it at the wedding a few weeks ago. Shows off her fabulous figure and I like the quilting texture of the silk. The diamonds are wonderful.

Queen Silvia elegant in black at the opening of the Parliament in Stockholm on September 17 - I only dislike the hat, with that size it reminds me a bit of a nun's or a chef's hat.

I do love this elegant and classic look on her and her pearl jewelry is outstanding with the black. I just don't care for the dainty white hat..

Love this black suit with the bell sleeves. All the pearl jewelry is gorgeous, especially the choker.

I love the black dress, she looks great . . . except for the piece on her head. . . . is this a new fashion trend?

Except for the hat, Silvia looks really pretty and elegant.

I DO wish these ladies would BURN these open-crowned hats. I've not seen a one of 'em YET that I'd do a cartwheel over.

Don't like that it's white, with her black outfit, either. Maybe black would've worked better, here, if she just HAD to wear THIS particular hat?

Other than that, Sil ROCKED it.

It is a beautiful silk suit and on my high resolution screen the colors are perfect together.

The suit is tailored perfectly as usual. But for some reason, I don't care for her necklace. I don't mind the colors as she can carry off strong jewel tones. Sylvia has been wearing quite a few shiny outfits lately..

I love the lavendar and green silk suit which are secondary colors and are in the same values of those colors. One is not darker/lighter than the other so they go well imo. I like the neckline to show the pearl necklace.
