It could have been! She has had it for some years now and the style of it was manufactured I think around 1995.

The Queen looks absolutely amazing! The pink suit is very exquisite and timeless. The color is so beautiful and the lace top also looks stunning. One of her best looks.

I'll join in the agreement. Pink is her color, the suit is beautiful and I also like her hairstyle. But, to be fair, Silvia has a natural elegance: she would look stunning even with a sack

She actually wore the same outfit (with a big pink hat) during the first day of the State Visit to the Netherlands in 2009. Still very stunning!

If you look closely she's wearing a beret .....the Queen though not born a Royal always looks and behaves every inch a born Queen

Even better with the hat- love the hat- though I envisioned more of a pillbox. But now that I've seen this hat, I wouldn't change it - I don't think. Can't make up my mind.
@ Marty- glad great minds think alike. 2 different women I'm sure- but she sure reminds me of photos of Jackie O there. I also agree- QS is one of those women that would look good wearing a sack. Like Jackie - always so elegant.
What was today's occasion? QS seems to have the art of regal dressing down to a science- although I follow many Queens on here, and they each have their own regal style that is unique to them- which I love and wouldn't change.
EDIT- Today's beret has got to go! First hat was so much better. Next time I say pink hat above or pink pillbox!

There is a lot of things going on in this outing. The pearls/crystals on the dress can't stand on their own when the large necklace, collar of the order and the royal family order are there as well. I also think that the necklace is a bit too big for that neckline of the dress.
