An off white top (looks like a cape top and if this is the case then it must be recycled) and a Balmain Fall 2016 gorgeous long black skirt with heavy embroidery.

She looked really great, but maybe I am wrong, I thought her entire look was a bit casual for a state dinner because instead of a proper gown, she wore a blouse with skirt. The whole look was quite stylish and elegant nonetheless.

Her outfit was very stylish and I liked it was not a typical gown which is always expected. Her look was dressy enough to work IMO.
I liked her hair open but it looked a bit messy.

I LOVE that cape top on her but not so much teamed up with that black skirt. But neverless its not bad combo - she looks elegant and beautiful.
I wish she had put her hair up. Her tiara looks so small and lost in her big hair.

Nice outfit, wrong occassion. She is Her Majesty The Queen of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on a State Banquet in the Château-Royal de Laeken. She is not on the red carpet during the Festival de Cannes. In nothing she showed she was the Queen of Jordan.

She wore a dress appropriate to a oriental queen. But she had done better taking a hairdresser with her. Her hair is a totally mess.

Appropriate to an oriental Queen? She simply wore "Western" design dresses, didn't she? Princess Sarvath shows the way: picture.

I don´t like it Mathilde looked so regal. Rania again with the bracelet not her beautiful arabic script tiara, no brooch on the band, no bracelet, no a nice hairdo...

Close up her heels and bag

Yet another chance where she could have stunned the entire world with a gown from Krikor Jabotian or Elie Saab or even Rami Kadi. This outfit is very mediocre even with the skirt. She looks pretty, but Rania set the bar so high up for herself years ago and this is just so below our standards for her.

The look is so so. It would have been a nice occasion to wear an interpretation of the traditional dress by Saab. Hairstyle overwhelmed a very delicate tiara.

i think the hair ruis the look but the rest is just fine to me nothing special or WOW but definitely not so bad for the occasion however she lately wore similar outfits in almost all the official dinners she attends (like in Morocco and Spain) a skirt and a top and i am bored actually i miss her ravishing Gala gowns, a state dinner deserve a sparkling dress Imo.

She certainly was beautiful and elegant. But she is not a celebrity going to a première. She was S.M. la Reine du royaume hachémite de la Jordanie during a glittering State Banquet at the beautiful Château-Royal de Laeken. She did look everything except looking like a Queen on the highest protocollary level.

An Anne-Marie of Greece, a Mary of Denmark, a Silvia of Sweden: when they dress up there is no misunderstanding possible: this is not the promenade in Cannes, this is at a grand residence. Rania just missed the right note, as so often, the latest years.

Yes!! Thanks for the info!

About the outfit I think the skirt was gorgeous, somekind victorian era style, but the top was from another world, bad combination
