Fantastic simple white dress to show off the stunning jewels! Best hair and make up in a while, terrific!

Indeed. Would rubies go better with that dress, or sapphires?

The top is too tight around the bust. Otherwise, this silhouette makes her look soooo fit!
Maxima should show her shoulders more often!

Wow, now that is how a queen should look when out for an evening, her gown is perfection and the jewels, my goodness, they are bright. I love her hair(please wear your hair up more dear Max), the makeup..........when she does it right, it's more then right, it's over the top gorgeous and beautiful. Bet her hubby is so proud that his wife shines so bright and happy.

I think this is a very sophisticated look for Maxima, well done. Would love to see a better picture of the jewels though.

Here's a close up of the necklace from when Maxima debuted it this past winter:

Yes, I'm pretty sure they're sapphires and diamonds and moonstones, I believe. I think they're pieces from one of the larger parures that are no longer in use (or reconfigured for a modern wearer).JMO

Maxima looks stunning indeed. I love the flow of the dress, her hairstyle is great and that necklace is gorgeous! This look defiantly gets the thumbs up from me.

Love the whole look, though I would have prefered a little color rather than straight white. My only tiny critique was that it could have used a slightly more substantial liner from the waist down. Sometimes a dress which looks perfectly fine in person looks a bit sheer when photographed.

I agree; the entire look is sensational but the gown could have used a more substantial slip from the waist down.

The dress should have been fully lined and not require a slip!

Love the color, but not the style.
Something is off here , but I can't put my finger on what it is.

This is a different type of style, but I really like it. Plus, her hair really looks healthy today.
