Maxima looks wonderful. Once again the picture of health. Hair, makeup, jewellery and a very elegant vertically striped dress which I find myself stunned to hear is from Natan.
But I find myself wondering, is the fabric beautifully made and relatively crease resistant or has she just not sat down yet. Then I think, silly girl . . . she didn't walk there did she?
So, one of Natan's rare beauties.

Máxima at the opening of a conference in Amsterdam today, November 11, recycling a Natan top combined with pants. I liked it better with the matching skirt, see the October 2014 pic.

Edouard Vermeulen/NAtan never made a pair of trousers that looked flattering on any royal lady. The legs usually look double their real size.

The outfit is ok but that plastic looking Iron Throne necklace is horrible.

The pants are really unflattering, the top looks a size too small. Moreover, the top and pants dont match. The necklace, I don't get it. The hair, a mess. Just a few days ago, Maxima looked lovely.

I'm sorry, but this look is a royal mess. The two different fabrics and shades of brown don't go together, the trousers are huge in the legs and the necklace be
Ones in a children's dress-up kit for Halloween. A definite miss from my point of view.

I agree, but ultimately it is Queen Máxima herself thinking she looks great in those pants...
When she has to look every inch a Queen, Máxima usually ranks the top. But when protocol is low-key then she really falls through the bottom line.
Her mother-in-law, Princess Beatrix, still dresses like she is The Queen. No matter what the protocol is, her standards remain consistent. It is a pity Queen Máxima (who looked super earlier this week) can suddenly look like she is going to paint the kitchen. What a shame. People expect a Queen to step out of that Audi but then see this mess...

Not feeling this outfit on the Queen. Very "thrown together", like she just walked in her closet at the last minute and grabbed something. And that necklace, not a fan in 2014, not a fan now.

When I first saw this outfit I thought how clever of Maxima to use the jacket again but with a pair of trousers this time! However, although I think the colours work fine, it is either the texture of the trousers or the wide cut of them that doesn't go with the chic top part.
I know the necklace looks like something out of the Flintstones, but it does give impact and could distract people from those parts of the outfit they don't like....or not.

I like the pants and the color of the top but in general this look does not work to me.

Máxima opened three innovative operating rooms in the Medical Innovation & Technology expert Centre of the Radboud University Nijmegen today, November 12, wearing a very lovely new dress. Such a nice soft colour!
I only dislike the fabric of her little hat, the rest is great:

The hat fabric looks EXACTLY like the texture of my chemo hair as it grew out. Not a look I'd care to repeat.

Only Max can wear a coconut shell on her head....Loving the dress. Really pretty color. Brown on brown outfit from yesterday isnt great but that necklace is so bad.
