I apologise if this wasn't your intention as I do have an irritating habit of rushing into things/overthinking, but I got the impression that you were laughing at my post or you found it amusing given the fact that you inserted the laughing smiley. It was not meant to be amusing - just a question that I didn't phrase properly.

Yes, I did read it as: "Mummy, I would like to borrow your beatiful hat, you know, the one from Amalia's baptism"...
I would like to see the storeroom where all her hats are piled up. Here the hatboxes in the atelier of Fabienne Delvigne, the Queen's favourite chapelière (milliner): http://belmodo.tv/assets/22258/DSC00841.jpg

For a meeting with WTO Director General Roberto Azevedo today, September 8, Máxima recycled her Tory Burch dress we've first seen in April:
** Full view ** Upper part ** April 2014 **

Not my favorite look of Maxima. Her dress is nice but maybe it is the bad light that it does not look good here. The color of her shoes are not matched well with her dress . I think she would have looked better with her hair on her shoulders.

A pink dress for Queen Máxima who received the President of Myanmar Thein Sein at Eikenhorst today, September 9 - the strong colour suits her!

Is that static cling or just designed to look like static cling?

Queen Máxima received the president in her own private villa, not as Queen but as UN advocate for inclusive finances. When she is in her pet topics (Orange Fund or the UN activities) this is visible in loose hair and often less formal clothes.
It is one of the worst outfits of Her Majesty's Queendom. Horrible.

I think it was designed to look like that it is not a good look.

I like the color of the dress but tights? I barely can tolerate those in winter. Is the dress supposed to do that?

She received the president of Myanmar in private audience. I think she was sure he would not be faced with a bare leg. Anyway, it was horrible. Queen Beatrix would never have gone so low with her standards.

I like the color, but not the folds, and not the tights.

It looks like she got her dress tucked into her panty hose/tights when she used the ladies room. Oh, so bad.

Yes, that's exactly what it looks like.

The photographer should have said something . . . I'm sure it was an oversight on her part . . .

Quite an unflattering dress and Maxima doesn't wear it well IMO though the color is great. Not a fan of how the cardigan hangs on her shoulders, I think you should either wear it or remove it.

LOL you guys really think that this is a wardrobe malfunction? Otherwise a pretty dress in a strong Maxima colour, the thick tights are a no-no though.

I can see that the fold was no accident but indeed meant as such: https://www.koninklijkhuis.nl/foto-e...-myanmar-20510
