The article wasn't being critical. It seems a trend to make a big deal when a royal 'recycles'. See it with Kate. Mary. Vic etc. Emphasizing how cost efficient or what ever that they are being.
I think she looks lovely and professional 
One good thing about investing in classic base pieces like this blazer, its something even a queen can frequently wear.

I like the outfit but on someone younger, the outfit is childish for her IMO. I don't like it with the coat, it looks odd. Maybe a tan coat would've looked nicer.

The coat and dress aren't a good match together. The dress is beautiful, but it isn't Letizia's style at all, she doesn't look good on it, it is way too girly for her.

I dont like Peter Pan collars (or braids) on anyone who is older than 10 years. Far too girly for a queen of 44. I love the shoes though.
