The colour is not my favourite on her, but other than that she looked stunningly beautiful yesterday. The dress is pretty and the romantic shape and look are great on her petite frame. She looked amazing with the hair up, the make-up was great and those colourful earrings are to die for.
My only concern are the shoes. I love them myself, they´re are the kind of shoe stuff I usually choose, but I don´t think they were the best pair to wear with this dress. Simple classic pumps would look better, IMO.
But overall she was looking her best. And, as other posters have already noticed, Monsieur le Président seems to agree

She did.
In fairness to Monsieur le Président, in the first picture he is not actually looking at Letizia but making eye contact with something off-camera. However, he does seem to be a happy sort - a good host. Letizia herself must be even more impressive in person since that's the way it usually goes.
Regarding the King's sartorial choice - to my amazement, I saw yesterday that US Secretary of State John Kerry was wearing a suit the same color with a turquoise/aqua tie. New male style that has slipped by me? Luckily My Heart has not given any indication that he intends to dress in this manner. Happy days!

My guess is that Varela is the designer of the dress.

I agree, Duke! This dress has some of the same embroidery as his latest, as well. Beautiful color and much more flattering, imo. Very elegant.

I like Letizia's latest outfit, dusky pink suits her a lot. It seems to be a popular shade with some of the royals nowadays (Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine [I think at Princess Leonore's christening] of Sweden have also been seen wearing it), and I don't blame them - it's a great colour.
I also hadn't noticed that it's a repeat from William and Catherine's wedding back in 2011 (at that time, I'd only just started to follow the European Royals) - well spotted An Ard Ri.

Yes, and I believe she wore a cloche style hat to the wedding.
I love this dress. The color, the style, the fit...everything.

And afaik this was the first anniversary of the train accident, maybe that´s why they all look gloomy?

I LOVE THIS DRESS - entire look is fabulous. Leti's been looking quite regal lately.

I'm also not crazy about the colour but she looks stunning. She is certainly a beautiful woman. The dress is beautiful, and she looks effortlessly chic and elegant without fuss.

Lovely dress but unfortunately the hair could've been styled and i am not a fan of peep-toe.

Agree 100% with the bolded (I like the color ). I have been so impressed with her since she has become Queen. Her beauty is more obvious for some reason. Can't praise her enough. She has that brio that makes anything she wears seem 'right' so that one (at least me) cannot imagine her wearing anything else.

Yes, QL seems to have more of a shine to her, more self confidence. I think that now that she is out from under JC's thumb, she can be more herself and it's showing. I just adore this beautiful lady, not only is she beautiful, she is very intelligent and strong, just what Spain needs now.
