HM looks great today, I like the combination of blue and pastel yellow on her. (I love that the brooch is allegedly the one the Obamas gave her, that's just brilliant :D)

A nice summery dress for yesterday's audience too.
 
Queen Elizabeth looked lovely in her blue coat and hat today with one of her favourite floral dresses of late too!

Today she wore her mother's brooch. Obama's brooch is dark green flower.

I love how the Palm Leaf matches the pattern on her coat and it stands out well.

Read from twitter that it's the debut of Canadian snowflake brooch. Love the smiles of both ladies. (And please tell me that they are arranging UK-Belgium state visit thank you.)
 
I get the feeling she's only wearing blue at the moment...:sad:
 
HM looks brilliant in blue. She must have realised that the colour suits her a lot, which could explain why she has had a soft spot towards it lately. I have a lot of clothes in blue myself because it's one of those colours that just seems to favour my complexion.
 
I just see a perfect look, really exquisite.
 
A beautiful shade of blue for HM. Blue is one of my favourite colours on her (well, it's my favourite colour in general so I suppose I'm biased, haha).

I love the colour and style and I don't think the coat is ill-fitting. Sadly, time wears at even the most stalwart amongst us and HM is no exception. To be blunt, she is becoming stooped with age and the tailors' dummy on which the coat was made is not.

IMO she stoops more when she is a little tired.

It has been an ocean of blue this summer! I like the feathers on this hat - for no good reason other than that I do.
 
A lovely shade of blue for HM and I like how there's just a touch of black, too.

I always wonder what clothing stays at Balmoral and what she brings to and fro?

I agree that at her age she can wear whatever she wants, whenever to be comfortable. But I would not have packed fur for this time of year.

And I looked it up - low of 11 today at Balmoral. :flowers:
