We all know, MT and J-C had very bad relationship and J-C for a long time fighted against a marriage of Henri. After marriage J-C denied acces to MT to family jewels. MT as a hereditary grand duchess wore jewels which weren't so important, or they were bought by Henri. After J-C's dead has everything changed.
Actually this tiara was last seen on princess Sybilla. Mybe she inherited this beutiful piece after her mother-in-law.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa's eveningwear during their statevisit to Stockholm.
April 15, 2008 in a beautiful white Elie Saab ready-to-wear dress and a close-up which was featured on the runway in royal blue. Loved the dress, looked lovely in white. I also liked the crystal details
April 16, 2008 A lovely purple Elie Saab ready-to-wear dress. Was featured in green on the runway. I thought the color was lovely, suited her well. Im not too sure about the silver shoes. Seem abit too shiney for the dress.

Cour grand-ducale de Luxembourg - Armistice Ã* Verdun
I don't know what MT was thinking in this picture. The skull cap was a bad bad decision and her neck gets swallowed up by the fur. I'm not liking this outfit at all.

The jacket is very pretty, but the fur seems a bit thick. I am not a fan of the skull-cap look on MT. This is a difficult look to pull off. IMO, one should be taller and have a longer neck to get away with wearing such a hat.

I have a hard time comparing the Grand Duchess to a chicken, but the dress is just unattractive.

OK, generally, I love Marie-Teresa's fashion and I think she is beautiful--but when doing a google search I found this:

All I"m going to say is that this isn't her best look. Beautiful dress, maybe the angle was just bad?

I came across that picture as well not long ago. I am kind of indifferent about it. It's not my favorite dress...maybe the combination of colors or something. MT doesn't really look awful, but it certainly isn't one of her best. It's different, but not really terrible.

I mostly liked this dress. The color is very pretty on Alexandra. The only thing that I didn't like was that in the photos of Alexandra sitting down, the dress appeared to be dangerously short. There are some photos of her sitting in the dress in the Luxembourg thread. It could have been the way she was sitting. Or it could have bunched up, and she didn't realize it. When she is standing in the dress, the length is fine.
I really like this dress, but the sleeves look a bit too tight in this photo. IMO, this dress is nicer than most of the suits she wears, which always appear to be too tight. This dress drapes nicely on her, and the colors are very pretty with her complexion and hair.

I think its a lot more modern than some of her dresses, colour-wise especially.
I've seen her in a lot worse!!!

Grand Duchess MT:
Cour grand-ducale de Luxembourg - Anniversaires du Lac et du Parc Naturel de la Haute Sûre
I don't like the suit. What is with the fur? The outfit would look much better without the fur trim. I also didn't like her hair. I think it would have looked much better in a French twist or something like that.

This outfit looks much better (from what we can see of it). I wish she would wear more color though.

The second picture, suit is lovely, looks like its mix & matched really well. I also like the hair, new for MT which suits her.
