Both the royal princesses look nice in their individual ways, although Eugenie's outfit is quite conservative for her usual tastes. Beatrice's coat reminds me of my mother's wedding dress - bands of lace from top to bottom. It's quite a festive look, and for those who do not like it, it's probably much nicer seen in reality than in a photograph!

I like Eugenie's outfit, except for that cerise hat, but that's due to my "matching" obsession. The shoes appear black, and the gloves are black, and if she'd been wearing a smart black and white hat I'd have been delighted. Similarly if the gloves and shoes had matched the hat, or if she'd added a brooch or scarf which included the cerise. I'm guessing she wanted to add a bright, festive, touch, and maybe the hat matches the dress she has on under the coat.
As for Beatrice, I think she looked fine, but would have looked even more fine if that coat were a few inches longer.

If I'm not mistaken, we have seen either this coat of Beatrice's before -on another royal- or else a garment made from the same lace/prisoner stripe fabric. I'm thinking it was a dress worn by Princess Mary.
Found it:

Sorry, Princess Mary!

Too short!!!! AND Beatrice has a terrible stance, she really needs to pay attention to things like that, it is very unattractive, if the DOC did that she would be brutalized in the press.

Quite right!

March 12, 2015 - Princess Beatrice attends a private view for the "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" exhibition at Victoria & Albert Museum.

I didn't. It was brutal. She can't help her physical appearance, although her outfit was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen in a number of places.

I'm not so sure about the potential for wardrobe malfunctions with that dress. Well, not wardrobe malfunctions of the embarrassing kind. For starters, the fabric seems quite heavy and unlikely to flop or blow up. Secondly, one of the shots showed she was wearing a solid black bra or some sort of bra-cup arrangement that seemed to cover up that area, and I suspect she was equally well covered everywhere else, too.

I stopped reading those comments a long time ago. Those people are just awful. I thought Bea looked fantastic!

I suspect Beatrice's clothing and accessories spend must be amongst the highest in the BRF, after HM.
