I like this outfit, suits Princess well. Color of shawl is perfect for Marie.

Nice outfit, all muted colors that are in the same tones. Liked everything about her look exceptfor those platform shoes, which I think put the foot at such an awkward angle that it all looks out of proportion. The icy pink tones were a nice complement to the dress color. Very nice fabric and style, no deep necklines here.

Joachim's shirt and tie matched her colors, as usual, nice touch.

I didn't like that look on her. The dress reminds me of a negligee.
Somehow it looks just out of place and not appropriate for a christening.

The dress is not too bad, i don't like the cardigan though. A different colour might have been nice.

The tank top and jeans looks lovely and the shoes match, the jacket doesnt match nor looks good IMO, I dont like it. I'd prefer a cardigan or something more glitter/shiney

She recycled the sweater that she wore during Joachim's press conference at Tivoli just before the Grand Prix event earlier this month. I'm hoping that we will see more full-length photos of her outfit. She wore white trousers with the sweater. I like the look. It is very simple, but it looks clean and elegant, IMO.

I didn't realize that the back of the cardigan was sheer. I wonder if the camisole worn underneath is part of the cardigan? I like the colors of this outfit. They look very clean and elegant for a summer event.

I'm not sure Marie has got it that is that she is a Princess and not just married into a well known family. She honestly needs help in the fashion department the whole situation is getting out of hand IMO.

You are correct, Odette. It is a laid-back outdoor festival that celebrates folk music. In fact, many of the attendees camp out at the festival, which lasts 3 or 4 days. It would have looked strange, IMO, if she had dressed in a suit, or something more formal. I just wish that we could see her shoes. I am really curious about what they look like.

I think she could have kept the sweater but wore trousers. White jeans? They don't cut it for me, even at a casual event. She is the patron of the event and she was going as Princess Marie. Casual I guess means different things to different people!

The outfit is so-so. But Marie's style needs a little bit of help. I've always thought that she would be more fashionable than Mary since she is French and French women take fashion so seriously but she's had more misses than hits.
