Oh, I'm CALM, Admirer!

Maybe it might've been better if I'd said the mad designer just threw two different dresses into a blender, turned it on, and this is what he/she pulled out??

Popular for US wedding dresses?
Wow.
OKaaaaaayyyyyyy!
Y'learn somethin' new every day!
I promise faithfully that I'll try harder to cut Maddie some slack!
But, I gotta tell ya, when you're as lovely as SHE is, it's kinda hard to see her wearing something that makes you go . . .
"HUH? Did she NOT check that in a mirror and have a question or two come up in her mind about it BEFORE she headed out the door?"
Just sayin'!

One of the good things about being a beauty is that you can get away with the occasional sartorial "MISS".
I've seen it happen to Charlene of Monaco as well as her niece Charlotte Casiraghi...and it happens to Madde quite often lately.

I just love the upper half but not the bottom half.

Something is off about her look. I think Madeleine looks better in lighter colours. I don't like the dress, the different parts don't suit together. She looks older with this make up.

Lovely earrings though, but they aren't a good choice with this dress.

The top part of the dress is lovely but the bottom skirt of the dress looks more like a night dress, the fabric is too shiny to. I like her hair, suits her that style and her make up is quite nice.

I really like the black Valentino, it really suits her very well, she is now very thin and she looks her best in years!!!!

Madde looks gorgeous, regarding the dress I am with most other posters, the top is beautiful but the skirt is strange.

The top and bottom are a mishmash of styles, but Madeleine is such a beauty that she overcomes this odd look.

I was very disappointed. IMO, the whole look just did not work. She looked overdressed, her make was far too loud, the pearls did not work with the ensemble, and I thought the dress was just bizarre.

But people pull out all the stops for fashion shows. And I thought her makeup was not so loud, considering she was wearing black.
Plus, I think these pics may be skewing the outfit, too-the surroundings are really dark, and that's going to affect the way the look "jumps out at you."

I don't think the dress is so bad, but her make-up is truly horrible. It's way too heavy, especially the lipstick, and makes her look older.

I do not understand why a woman of her age needs such heavy makeup. I do not like it.

I love the white outfit, even the ankle boots. She looks very chic

I agree about the makeup. A little much when she's wearing black near her face.

Don't love the Valentino but it IS a Valentino and she was sitting with him. Agree that she should stay away from black and that the make up seemed heavy.
Her Paris outfit was very chic

I am not sure she can carry off the jeans but I like the blazer the boots seem an odd addition to me and the chunky bracelet thing is it a watch.
The whole outfit is a little odd IMO.

I like this look and the boots can be worn all year long. I personally wouldn't wear boots in the summer.
