Pretty earrings, makeup and her hair looks nice. The dress and coat need to go. Way too short.

cepe, I agree with your comments, Letizia looks classy. But, the thing I liked most was her clean make-up. Very quiet and soothing. Doesn't scream out at you, if you know what I mean

You are right about hairstyle showing off the back of the dress. If worn down, it would have been a waste
. Would like to see her wear more jewelry, but I guess not her style. At least with this dress, she is trying new items. Good for her.

Has she worn this dress before? Letizia is very good at recycling, but I'm not sure if I've seen it on her in the past.

I remember this dress and I love it. Very 60s feel and with her slightly poufier hair is channeling Jackie Kennedy.
Sheer black hose help with the short skirt.
Love the chandelier earrings, she looks beautiful.

Talking about recycling, has anyone any clue why Letizia never worn a second time the two gorgeous gowns she worn to the Danish CP wedding, i.e. the red one and the red skirt with the flower top. Both were Caprile i think, and were among the best outfits she ever worn.

The white Varela dress is too short! ok she has the aequate legs for but she is not a catwalk model, she is the future queen, on official duty.
In the british thread people is complaining about some of the Duchess of Cambridge skirts lenght, but Kate is a young woman only 32 and she is not married to the direct heir of the throne. Letizia is a decade older then Kate and Queen maybe tomorrow.

You see, I disagree that she has the legs for it. I don't mind the length but I don't think she has the legs to carry it off. The style of the dress just makes her legs look like matchsticks. IMO, of course!

That's my feeling. Kate has shapely legs, and even though some of her dresses are too short she really does have the legs for them. Letizia, not so much anymore.

Were they her gowns or borrowed from fashion houses? Sometimes upscale designers wants people to wear their creations for special occasions and let desirable known women borrow. Done all the time. Even a few first ladies in America have admitted to this.

They were both Caprile gowns. I do not think they were not hers, we never saw them worn by another lady. Usually Letizia recycles, either worn the same, or modified, like the grey gown, worn in her own wedding's eve. But these 2 never saw again. Maybe Felipe did not like!

I don't really agree. She's still young and beautiful, so it's really okay. Plus, she has tights, if she hadn't it would have been different. I'm not shocked at all, she's gorgeous and classy.

Those dresses were by Caprile, not Varela. Not all designers do loans.
