Princess Letizia's Daytime Fashion Part 5: November 2008 - February 2009

My dear fellows you can say what you want but she is quite fashionable lady with her own style wich not everyone of us must like. I mean not only her clothes but other things specially shoes Of course she maybe recycle them to fast but if she like them and feel comfortable so that's her right.

I hope Prince Felipe did not marry Letizia because of her fashion sense, elegance, facial features and other superficial reasons. I hope her married her because he found an emotional and to a lesser degree physical (looks will eventually fade) connection with her in spite of her skinny legs, cheap looking clothes and hideous shoes.

I doubt that any of those superficial things even entered his mind. They seem to have a very loving and stable relationship which will not be marred by clothes or shoes. Just imho, of course.

I'm not usually a big fan of grey on Letizia, but this dress is nice. It fits very well and her makeup is a little more than usual which doesn't make her look so washed out like when she normally wears grey.

The brown outfit was pretty, the printed skirt along with a fitted jacket looked really nice and very elegent. The grey dress was pretty cool IMO. Not something I would see Letizia go for but is a very nice change from skirts and pants.

A year ago I thought Letizia looked incredibly boring, but I just love the way she looks now. She has gained some weight (not much, I know, but at least she's heading in the right direction) and looks generally happier. Love her clothes and most of all her platforms! Very much in fashion!

I love the grey dress! It is a nice style for her, and the flower looks great.

I love her outifts recently. Her platforms are ok. One thing I noticed about Letizia is that she has a lot of shoes w/ the same style, only the color varies. She prefers suede shoes in various colors. I kinda like them too.

For me the outfit is too casual - ok for everyday life but not for an event that Felipe attends in suit & tie. It's just plain ordinary nothing elegant or royal about it, not even in form of an accessory.

The shoes are perfectly ugly cannot wait to see this version in all imaginable colours.

After a second look I think you are right, IMO. It is a nice outfit, I also like the colours, but it is too casual for the event and that big bag makes it even more casual.

It´s a nice outfit, it´s casual, but they were visiting a TV channel, not an elegant event, I think she wore according to situation.

I like this outfit too. Yes, it is very casual, but aside from that, this look works well for her. The skinny trousers and scarf look great on her. I completely agree with you, Marmi, about the bag. I'm not a fan. It is a bit too 80's, IMO.

I think the outfit is appropriate for this event,this is not a sooo formal event so this is not an overly formal outfit but neither is an informal outfit (example: jeans ...).
The shoes and an big bag are chic IMO,veryfashion, no matter whether she is more or less thin.

I think she was dressed appropriately for a visit of tv station studios and the prince is the one who seems over dressed for the event.

this isnt the first time she has used this bag - but it is the first time she has choosen to wear it with the long shooulder strap on previos occassions she has just ued the shorter handels.
Although im not a fan of the big bag this seems to be Letizia's favourite of the season

I like the grey suit, but I don't care for the white turtleneck underneath. The color washes her out. I think that the suit would have looked nicer with a collared shirt underneath instead of the turtleneck. It also needed a brighter color underneath. This color doesn't work very well with her skin-tone. It makes her look tired, IMO.

they are modern and beautiful; but I don´t like the short scarves... they doesn´t look nice,IMO
