I do not always like Charlene's outfits but I have to say that she is doing great. One doesnt have to like it, but she has a style that is her.
I'd rather see her this way than flashing labels and designerwear all over the place, sporting the over-the-top luxury Monaco look that so many "society ladies" with awful looks and too much money show off every day.

i might not like always Charlene's wardrobe, just because sometimes they do not fit my taste. but i really admire Charlene for her own style and distint taste, she doesnt try to be someone else, i really value that.

I can appreciate all her individually when it comes to dressing but there should be a guideline for official events. I think I have read this type of comments in this forum before in relation to other royals. In the last two photos, the princess appears in what looks like leotards worn under short cut coats and boots, while her husband looks properly attired in a nice suit and tie. I hope she is not starting a trend

I loved the red dress and the two capes. In the pictures where she wore the black cape I thought that she looked glowing. A brilliant colour contrast with her hair.

She looks quite spiffy in this outfit!
Regarding my 'disrespectful' comment: It's a Christmas party. She's handing out gifts to little kids. She's their princess. She should be festively dressed. Yes, many of us wear black on a regular basis, even at Christmas. But we're not princesses.

The black boots that Princess Charlene wore in the Christmas Tree event are by Stuart Weitzman. Everything she has worn during this week is IDed HERE

Beautiful and regal look at the Vatician - lets hope for rules of protocal that she was allowed to wear the white rather than it being massive mistake on her part
Charlene looks the part as Princess of Monaco

From what I know, the privilege to wear white while meeting the Pope is normally reserved for Catholic Queens.
The Vatican convention is that females meeting the Pontiff should wear black, preferably with a black veil, or mantilla.
So I don't know how does it look with Charlene, who is not a Queen.

Maybe those who are concerned about Charlene wearing white could send a tweet to the Pope. If the assumption is being made that protocol has been violated isn't it just as easy to assume that the Pope has extended the privilege du blanc? Why assume the worse?
To wear white to a papal audience, however, "is not in good taste," Msgr. De Nicolo said. The only people allowed to do so, he said, are Catholic kings, queens and other reigning Catholic royalty.

I don't believe for one second that PC would have worn white without permission. There is no way the Monaco Royals, or any Royals for that matter, would risk good relations with another State like that, especially in the case of Monaco the Vatican, it just would not happen.

The outfit is lovely, indeed. The combination of lace(crochet?) and white material is nicely done.
