Those heels are god awful. They look like they were prescribed by a specialist doctor!

The red bag outfit is awful too awful actually nothing else can be said about it .... things are getting out of hand with Charlene's outfits of late I am bewildered.

I dont mind the heels, have seen much worse on Charlene. The hair would look nice in case it was styled, but not like this.

Maybe a close up will change my opinion, but this outfit leaves me cold.
Minimalistic style is one thing, but this is just bland and boring.

The suit looks like pajamas with the jacket IMO. T

From what I can see, I'm not liking this outfit. There's something off about it - it looks likes the jacket is too big or something.

I don't like this outfit I love the colour on her but I think a dress or skirt would have been more appropiate IMO

Why? Slacks are just as appropriate and she looks very nice and understated. Smart.

Top-to-toe lace including lace pants is a look very rarely seen on any woman in public...
...and seeing this outfit, it's quite perfectly clear why.;)

A good thing that she somehow managed to change on her way to the opening ceremony.

I like the top, it has interesting details. The jacket is also very elegant but I dislike the pants.

Is this a jumpsuit?
The color doesn't do her justice nor does the size too big jacket. Her flat hair style doesn't look good, some volume and pulled back is much nicer on her.

Can't believe that I'm saying this, but I actually like the outfit. The color is understated but the texture of the top and pants make it very interesting. She looks elegant and cutting edge at the same time. Well done Charlene.

I'm really not liking this look. Lace pants are a bit much. The color is the usual that we see on Charlene, and it's a bit on the boring side. Her hair looks really lovely.

Here's a better photo of the outfit. After seeing a close-up, I still don't like it. I think the color washes her out and I dislike the pants - it looks like she's wearing a lace tablecloth.

I didn't even recognize her in the picture. I'm not liking the look at all.

I thought she looked very sleek and elegant at BP. Job well done.

i think a pink pumps or something would have sizzled it up a little. she looks okay but not fab.

She looks perfect and she has much improved her make-up !

If the dress had a lining the same color it would have been wonderful. Love the color and the cut, but being able to see whatever was beige/white underneath was not a good look. She does look happy in the pictures though. That has to count for something, right??

The only thing I don't like about the dress is the see-through aspect. The color and cut are perfect.

Yes, the fit is fantastic. I just can't get over the see-through portion. She does look happy here.

She needs to look in the mirror before she goes out....see thru garments?? That should never happen.

This dress is unbelievably inappropriate for an official "princess" event IMO. Too bad because I love the color.

I love it - it looks like a lining to me that we're seeing. The full effect is likely not obvious from a snap. Let's face it, Charlene is bringing her own way with style and what is 'appropriate'. It's a new world. With her, the old rules do not apply. She is always upbeat and fresh in a modern but not too trendy way. I think she's getting the balance right. It's always interesting to see what she's come up with.

I think she looks great - good color, Great Hair, nice make-up and just all round looking very fine. Well done, Charlene! :flowers:

I'm with most other posters - great colour but the transparent part doesnt look good, it accentuates the but far too much.
