That coat is utterly ludicrous and whoever designed it and sold it to her must be killing themselves laughing. She looks as if she's some kind of Battlestar Galactica wannabe.

One of her worst looks recently IMO.

I for one quite like the light coat. It is something new and different. Would just like to see it in a different colour, though. We have seen the Princess in too much white or white/nude recently imo.

I think she wears too many neutrals generally. I think she looks much better in colour, especially bright colours or really startling white. However, personally, I would find the coat just as silly in any colour!

I would't have minded the outfit or its colours had it been a normal coat. There has to be some practicality of a garment and as much as I admire Charlene for trying something new and different, one can only hope it didn't rain!

It looks fine on her. She looks tailored and well put together.

Coat seems odd and unnecessary.

The coat is hideous and make the Princess look like she got caught in a fishing net!

The coat functioned more as an accessory than an actual coat. It would have looked much better to me had it been tailored a little better in the waist area and did not have that stupid hood on the back. That to me ruined the whole look. It really wasn't that bad but it wasn't that good either. I've seen much better on her and much worse, like that white dress that she just wore to the grand pre. Yuck!

Yes, and can you imagine if you wanted to put your keys in your pocket? 😋

I liked the coat. I like it when royal ladies try to go off the beaten path (hint, hint, to Letizia....). It has the risk that something looks "worse" but hey... you are a Queen or a Princess, you stand -per definition- above fashion. After all: which "normal" ladies wear diadems, hats, gloves, grand bijoux and the whole shebam?

Agreed.

I couldn't help but notice that Victoria wore an open lace coat, in the same style as this coat has been worn. Looks to be an emerging European trend, unfortunately.

Princess Charlene's Fashion and Style Part 12: March 2015 -

Fashion should be fun, and it's not always easy to translate high fashion into a wearable, well-put-together look. The coat is quirky and cool. I love the fact that PC is having fun and not always going for the safe and predictable. That's what makes her so exciting to follow. Love her hair and makeup too... She's looking gorgeous! 😘

She looks wonderful I guess I don't like the coat in a hospital, which is where she was

Princess Charlene shines when she sticks with a glamorous, but classically elegant look.

I don't care for the coat, but she herself looks beautiful, imo.

I applaud her trying something different and implore her to throw the coat away.
